I was able to take down a 135 ravager with 21 tranq darts

You don't need a large taming pen....

A 1x1 with door frames for walls. Put a ramp down on the side you will be running from. Seperate one and have it chase you. Stop at the top of the ramp. Jump down and though the opposite side door frame either at the last minute or just after it hits you. Knock it out (have 100 tran arrows just in case). Once it's out demolish the ramp, go inside and place wood spikes on four sides. Lie down inside and put in cook mutton and bio toxin/narcos. Once tamed, put on a saddle and jump out. Remove the wood spikes add a ramp and repeat.

A compound bow with tranq arrows can do wonders, but I'd still have a bola or two at the ready. I'd also have a dino, preferably a high damage raptor or scorpion for crowd control, just in case a pack shows up

Build a 3 by 3 foundation trap, use stone foundations then go around the whole thing with stone door frames make them two high and then put ramps all around the trap, lead them in and once they go in they cant get back out

The best way to tame these guys in my opinion is to trap them. Make a stone trap with 4 foundations, walls in all sides and a ramp covering one side. It can be one wall high or 2 it doesn’t matter. Then kite it into the trap with a ptera and make catwalks on the outside of the walls and shoot it from there! Hope this helps 😊

Wow so alot of people are taming these in more difficult ways. And dododex is wrong. A desmodus can carry these and is the easiest method. Just grab it and bring to where u want to tame it and bam ez. I can even face tank while shooting it with tranqs once its near knocked out and running away just chase it down by foot. Such an easy tame this way. Up so more people can see.

Build a cage with 4 floors, use doorframes as walls and make the walls go up 3 or they will jump over it. Add a ramp and lure one away from the pack into the trap by running up the ramp and having it follow. I would recommend wooden since it will take it a while to break and easy to repair. You should be able to out run it as long as the trap is close by

Get a stego to drain its stam, it wont be able to run anymore since it cant regain stamina so theres no need for bolas.

Needed more cooked lamb chops for a lvl 90 between 12-14 on 1x

Build a stone dino pen using fence foundations, door frames , dino gate. Then surround the outsides with stone pillars which you then use to place ceilings across the roof of the pen effectively beating the ravagers leap without the need to bola. Lure them in and lock the door behind them. Ive knocked out max level ravagers without issue using this method.

Most useful and easest tame lol their kibble is just cooked mutton and basically sheep for the mutton is everywhere you go (ravagers and sheep spawn in the same areas)

Have a bunch of tranq darts and bolo it.

Build a 4x4 pen 4 walls high (with doorways) build a ramp on one side and get a pack to agro on you. Have them chase you into the trap and run out the doorway. They take quite a bit of tranqs to knock out, but if you use cooked mutton they require no narcotics even for a 150.

If your taming with mutton chops the food needs to go down about 108 before they will eat one.

Wait a little longer while starving. I had to wait and extra 20mins while taking a 130 last night.

If you have a crab, pick up the pack leader with the left claw and go somewhere safe to tame. You can shoot while mounted on the crab to avoid aggro.

The easiest way to tame is to bola it and knock it. Be aware that they can jump in bolas and travel in packs. I recommend killing all the lower levers, and bola-ing the highest level.

I recommend taming multiple due to the pack affect it gains when in a group.

Taming Guide: Find a pack and bola all except for one. Let the last one chase you away from the pack and then bola and tranq once you get far enough away. Rinse and repeat to get your own pack.

At high levels they can take quite a few tranq arrows to knock these bad bois out. And when you bola them they tend to run away right after. So what you do is make a stone dino gate, stone window walls, stone ceilings and make a trap house. Throw a small metal trap in, run into a group, run into the cage with what one you want, it gets stuck, and boom. Ezpz
