In order to tame a ravager I recommend building a large trap or finding somewhere high and hitting them with tranq ammo. They are fast, pack hunters that cause the gnashing effect, making them effectively aberrant Thylacoleos in a way just hunting In packs and instead of climbing vertical surfaces climbing zip lines. Once tamed the are excellent traversing and combat tames. Next I will do one of the following: enforcer, gacha, snow owl, managarmr, velonasaur

Ok since every one here apparently finds these on crystal isles and only talks about catching them their in abberation you should level up movement speed build a stone 2 by 2 with 2 levels of hight stairs leading in and maybe openings to attack the ravagers great for smaller dinosaurs and can catch almost anything early game in those pits

Despite what many say, this is quite the easy tame if done right. Playing on Crystal isles I already had a crystal wyvern since it's a passive tame. I found 3 ravagers, a level 135 being the pack leader, I used a bola on it an took the other 2 ravagers out. Then I slightly damaged the last ravager which made it run instead of attack me. Then I used a bola on it again and started using tranq arrows on it, when it broke the bola I just used another one. Like I said, I damaged it enough for it to run so there was no fear of being hit. As a fairly beginning player I can indeed say that this is very easy if done right.

Just find a large rock that you're certain the ravagers can't get up and just hammer them with tranqs they will probably run away but will run back!

If you use mode "immersive timing" and taming the pack leader, you get all 4 creatures at your services

Ravager are kinda easy tames. Ones you have knock a ravager feed cooked mutton it is the best way to tame a ravager.

A good way to catch these guys is to build a stone gate. With some doorways around it and a couple ceilings close the door and there you go.

You can tame these using a good equus, just bola all of the ravagers and one by one knock them out.

Tamed one in Abb and to be honest it wasn’t very hard like most people say it is. The one I tamed was a level 85 female with a level 5 partner I stood atop a rock killed the level 5 with my crossbow I and then I rained tranqs on him only took about 30. Don’t overground for a simple tame

All y’all have to do is bola them and Tranq them until knocked out. It is not hard tbh

Best trap for all fertile biome animals is a 2x2 stone ramp trap on a raft. 2 walls high everywhere but the entrance

I have a pack of 5 ravagers. I looked back while riding the alpha, and one was gone. While I was looking for the other one, another one disappeared. WTF HELP

UnTame On Lost island Abbrattion Cave

Just set a trap with a 2x3 stone foundation and add two high door frames around the whole thing then place ramps on the rabager side. Run over to them and once they aggro run up the ramp and out one of the door slots, because they can't get through the doors you can tame an entire pack with ease.

To the guy who said to use a megalo and trap for this thing is wrong standing on a rock and using a bola is easier and cheaper

Took me 33 tranq darts to put down a 150 they prefer cooked mutton for quicker tame
