Just want to say they can jump over 2 walls. Not normally but if the terrain is even the slightest bit uneven or they get enough space for a running start they can and will jump over 2 walls. They cannot jump over 3 walls unless on a absolutely insane incline so you won’t have to worry about that.

You won't find anything more useful for keeping these guys still than a small bear trap. You can Bola and kill the other ones if it is in a pack but keep the high level one trapped for knocking out once you've killed it's pack.

Make sure you have a frind or have a lot of bolas or you will die

They spawn in lunar caves on genesis

When they jump, run underneath them and never look back

Can traverse across Zip Lines and when jumping from extreme heights they take very little to none fall damage, load them up on massive amount of raw resources and halves the weight! huge benefit to have early on!

These guys are really helpful. Not only can you shoot from their backs, but you can also do so while clinging to a vine/zip line. This can be use either as a blatant way to tame other creatures, or just a way to move such a creature into a position where a tribe mate can traq it. Really useful mount, especially when with a pack!

Used as a high jumper and can walk in zip lines and vertical jungle vines. Amazing overall tame. Especially early game.

Fast, good damage, & deals bleed. Best mount for being both a bodyguard & traveller for low-mid game resource runs. Found in packs where the alpha is the highest level so somewhat difficult tame until solo. Bola works fabulously

After tamed they will eat spoiled meat and it won’t harm them

Throw your bolas from far away. When they approach you, they’ll juke what would ordinarily be a well timed bola with their Michael Jordan leaps

Has anyone noticed that when it's on a zipline there's a little heart meter kind of like the charge meter on the rhino? What does that mean for it?

We went into a crazy deep cave, let our animals exterminate the adults, and imprinted on the baby 👀 I didn’t know what they were I just thought the babies were cute and I wanted one. After reading the comments, I realized I got lucky lol gonna go grab a few more and try to breed to make a super pack

Oh Goodness. These things are on crystal aisles and It was my first te encountering them EVER. I thought they'd be a piece of cake to kill. After getting killed 4 times back to back my mind was changed. I'd rather encounter 2 Gigas and 5 rexes than deal woth them. They're like Haeyandadons on steroids and super aggressive

Possibly the best early game mount to explore with its insane weight and jump rope climbing skill. A cheap saddle and easy to find, just make an easy trap 4 foundations 3 walls high and ramps, you could make it smaller but this trap can be recycled

DO NOT USE KIBBLE TO TAME THESE! Yes, you can tame with kibble, but even with extraordinary kibble you will only gain about 1-1.8% tame with each kibble it eats. Plus it's taming effectiveness drops to approx. 87% after first bite. Do not listen to whoever says to use kibble. Might work on mobile phone version (don'tknow), but definitely not PC version of the game. Cooked Mutton is best!

Carryable by wyvern too. Did it with a blood crystal wyvern on crystal isles

One of the very few creatures that doesnt glow in abberation. Often hiding behind rocks and they are extremely quiet. The best you can do is stay vigilant.
