The best mount to get around aberrations especially when u live up cliff where there is no water you just need ziplines with ziplines and a ravager u can climb any where and did I mention normal iron rocks are found mostly up cliffs oh ya omost forgot they reduce Wight by 50% (half the Wight of the item) of wood rocks iron and thatch so a exlent early resource gathers because they are so easy to tame

If using a crossbow for taming a high lol, don't shoot it in the head, aim for the body. It has a better chance of death if you shoot the head.

Note sometimes when I am doing this a ravager 180s over me,this jump over always results in an attack from behind so you should be able to turn around before it resumes it's onslaught, I find a wooden shield lasts 10s against a level 10.

Bolas work , for sure use two or three. You can breed and they are a little over two days. Color mutations come very easy it seems.
