Currently I’m trapped in the green zone cave I’m held captive by a level 116 and killed others my only tips are to have plant species z to stun it also works on car is so it’s the best they have packs so multiple bolas are needed to stun all the ravagers but with a pike confidence and a few levels you should be able to take on 1-2 level 10 ravagers but still don’t go into the cave without 100 arrows or bullets

Get a flyer like a wyvern pick up ravanger that you want drop it in a trap and start tranqing not hard to do :)

They can actually be carried by wyverns even though Dododex says it can only be carried by crystal wyverns hopefully helpful- Scarlett

Some people call them cave wolves because some of them live in aberration and aberration is like a cave

2 width xX 4 length X 2 height with a ramp facing long way, and using door frames. Just trap them in there n they won't be able to jump out, n u got urself an easy tame.

Ravagers are NOT to be messed with without proper equipment.

My strategy requires a shotgun (double-barrel is very risky, pump action is preferred), a bola and a ranged weapon with tranq abilities (crossbow or longneck is optimal).

Get as close to the ravager you want to tame as possible and Bola it. After this, the rest of the pack will aggro on you. Use carefully timed shotgun blasts to kill them (headshots!) and then knock out the bola’d ravager. Keep some distance between you and the bola’d ravager in case it escapes, maybe put a bear trap between you two.

Then make a saddle, and you have a perfect mount to explore the blue zone.

These are a fast tame, behind the waterfall, down a hole kill the seeker then go through the hole. Seeker mean

They’re like aberration terror birds, that’s the only map terror birds don’t spawn on. Like terror birds they get bola’d but like most natives to aberration they are more deadly which I didn’t think was possible.

You can pick these up with argentavis. Easy tame with harpoon launched net projectile and cooked lamb chops on lost island map.

Build a taming pen metal is best but wood spike walls work just as well. Go find your desired ravenger and carry it to the pen using an archntavis or a wyvern. Stand outside the pen and shoot it, then feed it prime meat. Easily done one at a time away from their pack.

Carry by argent

1x1 box, 2 walls high (using doorways works best for easy tranquing and feeding), ramps (or 1 ramp and add the last doorway after it’s in to conserve mats)

Someone said to use a crab, but I feel like you’d probably get this before a crab

Grap a stego with a Friend slow all,of them kill the low lvl ones bola the one you want and knock it

The only way to tame so thin so easily is to just go on a cliff where it can’t hit you and knock it out and put give them food then 4 or 3 minutes you have a tamed Dino.

If you have tamed a ravager I wouldn’t try to attack other packs of ravagers until your ravager is leveled because the wild ravagers have a bleed and if you only have 1 ravager (unless it’s pretty strong) I wouldn’t suggest attacking another pack of ravagers or even just 1 because they can bleed and if a pack of 4 ravagers mate boosted and pack boosted........give up, game over you and your ravager are dead (unless your ravager is a hulk dog on steroids you’re probably not gonna live)

So I was taking a ravaged and it suddenly dissapered after I came back

If there's mod Steuctures+ on the server, bring bola, vanilla fence and door frame. Bola him and make square 2 tiles high. Od make him flee by Bola him, bait him to the corner, bola again And than use half materials

Best early tame for abberation. Takes less fall damage(my fav), can climb on ziplines, and half carry weight on half of materials. Easy to tranq with longrifle, no difference in darts between primitive and acendent(about 5) for LvL 120, do NOT recommend tranq arrows 15+. Get one asap if you dont have a bird or rock drake, will make your life 5x easier.

Just like a dire wolf or raptor pack. Stay at a high elevation and shoot down with tranqs
