These creatures travel/hunt in packs and have a gnash ability when in packs they can climb zip lines and hang upside down they also have the brilliant ability to halve the weight of certain resources e.g metal and wood.

These work great in caves on the other maps

These buggers are the most dangerous thin you can ever encounter in normal areas and yes the spawn just about everywhere the will slow u or your tame down so you can not I repet can not escape so if there is a pack do not Bing a medium mount anywhere nearby them if on foot it is easy to escape you can usaly run away to water, off cliff (parachute or wing suit), or runing past a small or medium wild animal (distraction) and a second choice is to kill by youself too by using Vilas on both ravagers but if more I would not recommend

I would recommend having a 2+ by 2+ with 3 door frames high and a small dino gate on one side. Remember the ramps. This will help make it a lot easier. If you build a wall around the pem then the animal should be safe.

Want to escape these things, then boost your movement speed say 10-15 times and your pretty much untouchable.

Hold it in the mouth of a megalosaurus while a tribe mate shoots it with tranqs.

Ravagers CAN be carried by argents btw for those that transfer dinos between servers who care to know.

Let's say if you but 200 metal in the ravager inventory it will be 100 weight not 200 weight it works with meat to.

If you bola them and stick a glow stick on them, you won’t accidentally lose it even at night! You can also do this once they’re knocked out so you won’t forget where they are!

Make a stone foundation and 4 doorways. Lure the ravager into the trap built from the foundation and three doorways and have a friend put in the final one. Now your ravager is stuck, easy to be ko'd and protected from threats. Bolas often dont work as the ravager can still attack and cant be bolad easily after escaping.

A useful tame when in packs of 5 or 6. Naturally high carry weight, can travel on ziplines and is an easy breeding experience. Easy tame as well being a hand full of cooked mutton.

Their fast so have at least 120% movement to outrun. Or just bola them as they always travel in packs and just kill them, easy XP.

Get a pack of at least 6 and you can kill even a high level basilisk or the annoying nameless. Pump health, weight, and melee. Their also great base protectors.

Bump movement and weight and carry ziplines. If you got a couple friends you can net some decent metal runs near the edge fairly early. Don't forget your auquatic mushrooms though. The freeze shrooms are nasty

They take little to no fall damage from extreme falls, probably the most essential tame for someone just starting out in abberation because of the half weight reduction on materials

Either bola the pack and kill those u don’t want to tame (but u can’t get enough hits with tranq while bolad as it will get out) OR make a taming pen (stone) 2x2 or 2x3 foundations, 2 stone doorframes high and a Dino gate. Time it right as when they chase u, u can jump out and clear the wall. Run forward more as when they r about to attack they jump so they could get out

Easiest way to tame. Bola them then shoot the lower level ones and tranq the highest level. Make sure you are ready with bolas because they breaks them easy lol
