Ok when going on a hunt for these, there are some supplies you will need for this to be effective; 100 narcs for any lvl ravager (or more if there’s more than one ravager, also if you don’t have access to mutton) next on the shopping list is longneckrifle (tranq dart) to quickly put them down, of course if you have access to a net gun then this will be the more effective option, you will also need a good spot to sneak up on them (they come in packs of 3/5 I think, if you see one alpha that means there is more close by) In the occasion one sneaks up on you the best course of action is Fight/Flight, Low levels should flee and cut arround rocks to break there AI so they will lose you faster, high levels have 2 options, dispatch or knock out, or if ur a wuss then run lol but anyway, if you don’t want to knock it at close range I suggest doing the slap and run to a farther distance, then shoot it preferably in the head for a quicker knockout, (I recommend knocking the alpha first, then the next high level then get rid of the rest) taming takes a little bit so always pack more narcotics, and a good melee weapon if anything were to try to impede on your taming you can just swiftly smack them relquik. You may be wondering what are these bad boys good for? Well as I own a few, I can tell you a few, they are very versatile transport mounts as well as good cave mounts, when going spelunking with these Boise I recommend bringing at least three for the pack buff bonus, so they will do the bleed attack, as well as more damage, but since I own a few better creatures, and the ravager (tho is one of my souvenirs from aberration) isn’t rly my first pick mount. These guys are good in packs, when alone they become vulnerable!
More Ravager Taming & KO Tips
They take a lot of narcotic arrows to put down have at least two bolas at the ready you need about 15 narc arrows to the head for a level 5
Bring a megalosaurus and nab the alpha then run off, you can set in trap to knock out or have a tribe mate shoot narcs while holding. Up this to save lives
If you throw the bola and it hits its mouth, it breaks and does nothing.
So apparently everyone here freaks out about how hard it is to tame them and they're like you need a megalosaur and blah blah blah. No. Actually I reccomend that you have a few bolas and a crossbow. Find a pack and unless you intend to tame them all use the crossbow to kill the ones you dont want from a ledge. Then bola the ones intended to be tamed and knockout. I reccomend only ever taming one at a time unless you have a trap. For each ravager you'll never need more than 25 tranq arrows on a primitive crossbow. Taming food is easy. Just kill a nearby ovis. If you use mutton, make sure you cook it. Your ravenger will tame faster.

DFL’S GUIDE TO ABBERATION CREATURES: part 2
Name: Ravager
Temperament: aggressive, watch out they travel in packs
Found in: they are found pretty much everywhere in the green zone, rarely found in the blue zone, and can’t survive radiation so no red zone
How to tame: ravages are like raptors, but 10x more deadly, they are fast, like raptor fast, and they deal bleed damage, so you’ll be slowed when hit, which pretty much means death for you or if your riding a small Dino that too. To tame it you must first scout out which ones you want, for one cannot simply trap them all and have enough tranq arrows to get them to go to sleep. So, try to separate the highest levels from the lowest levels, and kill off the low levels by hitting them with a bola and shooting them. Hitting them in the mouth with a bola will not affect them, just make you confused and wonder why you didn’t bring a mount. After you have trapped the ones you want, bring them into a trap, you can search up one, or use a two by one with doors on the side and a ramp, and tranq them until knocked. Then shove mutton up there a$$ and you have a new friend!
Uses: rangers are essential to your Abberation world, as they are like argys, your main mount to get around, and they have a weight reduction for most resources, like metal and fungal wood. They are super strong as well, and can easily take out a low level spino. They also have a special ability to climb zip lines, up and down

There is a glitch with ravagers where after they are tamed they have no stamina. If you want to fix this set it to attack target and whistle attack target in something that cannot fight back like a dodo or parasaur. After it looses stamina biting the stamina will regenerate and the bug is fixed. Good luck!
