When you tame a raptor ( high level ) use it to tame more two or one low level raptors (1-30) so you can get the alpha buff

warning alpha raptors can kill 4 of them so watch out you are not invincible

Tip don't go into the caves with them as long as they're following you they will jump down holes get stuck on rocks and kind of stop moving far enough but at least they will fight enemies that will attack you so at least they're good for something in the caves

Pretty hard to tame but when tamed they make very good infantry

They are the best when you have more than 7 you can take down a T-Rex and if you breed them you can get a mutated one.bye👍

Great in numbers or even on their own if they are a high level. One of the best starter predators to tame for hunting or just general protection for yourself and your base.

I have 15 of them and they are beasts!

These creatures are loyal and will fight to the last breath. we have tamed many and they have fought valiantly and with honor against our enemy’s. They provide fast mobile protection.

WARNING: Although amazing (and I should know, trying to make a pack of 5) they can, if caught off guard or separated, can and WILL be killed.. I’m talking about piranhas and other raptors (learnt it the hard way RIP).. Remember to watch for mega piranhas when in deep water, they can make quick work of low level tamed raptors...

It's their availability that makes them good tames. They're found all over the place, have poor torpor tolerance, and are quick tames. You can quickly and easily build a huge legion of these guys to take on virtually anything. My pack of around 10-12 once shred a wild rex in seconds. Its corpse didn't even get to hit the ground. They're expendable but fast and strong, a perfect footsoldier.

Try inbreeding the raptors you get more colours and have good chances at twins or triplets

These are possibly one of the best games in the game (I’m not saying as in its as powerful as a giga but it’s easy to tame and useful for killing dinos) The pounce attack it noice, and you can kill off every carbo and trike on a beach with one of these things. Did you know that if you leap onto a Moschops (and maybe other creatures) they will flip onto their back and you have them pinned for a certain amount of time? I didn’t.

These things are nightmares for all new player

I have 6 and they took down a trike INSTANTLY! Very useful.

Like me.

Tame four Raptors and you can kill almost anything,

So you could go on long voyages without worrying too much.

No Rex’s or Alpha anything, and you should be fine.

just be careful, and make sure to check their health after a possible close call,

I made that mistake once,

Regretted it.

Also I recommend tranq arrows instead of bola, but I might be using the bola wrong,

So don’t take my word for it.

Though I will mention, Raptors cannot hold that much weight.

unless you tame something that can keep up with the rappers and hold a bit of weight,

(Maybe a Parasaur,

but I haven’t tamed one yet.)

Pack light, and don’t intend on taking too much home.

So this is Utahraptor.

Not enough raptors, we need Dromaeosaurus, Pyroraptor, and Dakotaraptor. These variants are rarer, a tiny bit less strong, and smaller except the Dakotaraptor, although I want them to have unique abilities. Dromaeosaurus should have a “latch on” ability, Pyroraptor should breath and light up a flammable gas to make it look like it’s breathing fire, and Dakotaraptor should be more cautious, curious, and patient than our regular Utahraptor, as it is big as the Utahraptor.

Dromaeosaurus = Small

Pyroraptor = A little bit smaller than Utahraptor (Rideable)

Dakotaraptor = Bigger as Utahraptor (Rideable)

Raptors are good for defense, hunting, and traveling.

These are great tames, if you get a high level one early on it will wreck everything. Be careful though megapiranha's are dangerous they killed my revy I loved him so much
