A Raptor can do a lot of things. But it’s BEST is speed. I took a level 24 Rex with a raptor and a lvl 6 Sarco and defeated it by letting the Sarco get in at the legs, taking the brunt (health and stamina) while the Raptor made hit-and-run maneuvers.

Raptors are only good if you find a 140 and up, still they shouldn’t be used for anything but kibble or against trolls. Best raptors will be found on aberration in the Edge 1, plus plenty of Ovis meat there it will only take about 20 min.

Pump health and melee no point in anything else since it will die fast without any health

They carry stuff, most likely inventory from things it’s killed or that you’ve put in there. WARNING: you add extra weight so if you have at least half full in weight, put it somewhere else or your raptor will not be able to move when you ride it.
