Great tames to practice breeding.

If you hold the attack button they hit crazy fast.

45-60 damage per second and if you try hitting a training dummy you’ll see that it’s dps is kinda higher than most medium size carnivores like carnos and barys which is because each bite it does deals 15 damage twice making it 30 per bite, and they can pretty much do 2 bites per second thanks to the quick cooldown.

Raptors make great body gaurds. They're high attack speed, and running speed means anything that attacks you will be dealt with in seconds.

They also have a slight knockback and can pin smaller creatures. Raptors are great for harveating meat off deaf land animals

If have 3 of this and they can take down a Rex

2 weakneses: The Bola and water. If you encounter one for the first time either fight it or swim. But you may attract the piranhas! You'll struggle to outrun one on land.

Are they good mounts? Well no not really. Why? Weight. They can't carry much including you and whatver armour you have on.

They can pin down small creatures however making easy kills and collected meat and some hide.

I lime to have them as personal bodygaurds which you can simply "hire" on the go.

Put them on Neutral and let them fend for you or themselves. They have a very fast attack rate.

I’m still a noob but just found out by experience that you become invisible to a dilo while on your raptor. Not sure if there are more things your invisible to but dilo’s for sure! Just.. don’t get off until your farther away unless you wanna kill/tame it

Feeding it simple kibble or raw prime meat can make taming faster.

Plus, u can also starve tame it with prime and it might tame almost instantly

If you see one of these, stay far away. If it runs at you and you can’t kill it, you dead, especially if it’s an alpha or in a pack. Your only hope is if you find something that’s strong and will attack it back. Even if the raptor/ raptors kill it, you’ll still have enough time to get away.

Tame a raptor and a few troodons. You shouldn't have much trouble keeping food on the table.

With high damage per second and speed, the Raptor can easily dispatch anything smaller than it! Give it a few friends, and it can take out some of the stronger dinosaurs of the island. These agile lizards will rapidly tear up anything you want them too! Remember to be careful of their relatively low health pool, as they can die pretty fast if you’re not.

These things are so OP, i just tamed 5 with exactly 12 tranq arrows and some prime meat, on my way back set them to attack 2 stegos 2 brontos and a trex in the dead zone on ragnarok and they dealt with them in a matter on seconds they are so good and are easy to get but be wary as the pack leader is 70> and is an alpha but it was attacking a stego anyway so i KO’d it 👍

The Pack vocalization seems to be broken on tamed and or breed raptors. If you have any information about this please correct me

in mobile they can jump and pin u so fast tip for noobs but with tric u can push them back realy good

Each version of the raptor is different(if u know wut I mean) the regular raptor is completely trash, the aberrant raptor can jump on u and knock u off ur mount, and the X raptor is really faster then the other versions

I was walking with my lvl4 raptor rein so a sarco dragged me under it wa so let’s 18 and rein killed it it like 2 hits my dude but then a lvl 23 alpha raptor killed her😢😢 and all my moshops and me

Just breed em I have like 10 and they can melt creatures with 5000- health it's soooo easy just get some

I was trying to tame a level 200 raptor it ran through three large bear traps explain to me how that happened please somebody you can you explain how that happened

Raptors are the best beginner's carnivore. They are fast, agile, and can do moderate amounts of damage very quickly, especially in a pack. They can also punce on smaller prey, pinning them down while you finish them off. Similar to the Direwolf, the alpha of a pack will sound a call to the others, causing a buff to all the packmates. Unlike the Direwolf, however, the buff increases attack speed instead of power. This increased attack speed can actually allow you to deal more damage than the Direwolf. Although the name of this creature is just "raptor," it is clearly a Utahraptor, the largest raptor to ever live, growing to the size of an ice cream truck and weighing 1,000 pounds. This was a beast in real life, but not quite in ARK, as they get killed by seemingly everything. Overall, a worthy starter tame, but useless late game. Unless you want to breed them and give them pretty colors.

Looking to ride these? Bring a carbonym with max pumped speed, they don’t like heavy things. go get one at level 8 bring a bola and 10 to 20 rocks and a slingshot or a tranq arrow

Once I was trying to tame a carno in a pen I forgot to put my raptor (level 9) on passive then the carno bit me my raptor charged at the carno killing it in 2 seconds he was a good hunter.
