This is the reason why you need to upgrade to a wooden shelter as soon as possible. I have a love hate relationship with raptors because they are incredibly useful and equally infuriating. Unlike the dilos that you will eventually be able to punch to death in less than a minute, For some reason raptors find a way to be irritating and dangerous in literally every game stage, and although you may get stronger, they will still be strong and fast enough to kill you if you let your guard down for a second. Raptors are a surprisingly versatile mount that can serve as both a scout and calvary unit. Their weight isn't great, but they are fast and they can definitely do some damage. If you focus on stamina, damage, and health you will get a great mount that can help you explore while being able to take down smaller threats, and allow you to escape large ones.

These raptors are so adorable! The baby is smaller than a dodo- a Juvenile is the same size as dodo- and the adolescent is the size of a dilo. THEY ARE SO CUTE!

If You're On Medium Difficulty, You Can Use A Atleast Lvl 100 One To Go Through The South Cave, They are Fast And Do A Good Amount Of Damage, Just Make Sure To Bring Atleast 100 Stimberrys

Raptors can be used to get around quickly and if you gather a lot of them like a pack, in PvP maps you will de unstoppable.

If you get chased by one in the beginng of the game i advice you to make him busy by other thing like a parasaures or a diplo by pasing under him or just your friend, he will be very happy

The raptors are the best 3 rd dino that you can tame. They are very good at farming meat and hide they are really fast and they kan fight pretty well so I’d recommend them to a starters. :)

Really difficult to rate... It's a fast, deadly (yeah well deadly in packs), fearsome predator if you're on foot. But almost no sweat with a good mount. Even if they manage to pin u your mount should be able to make short work of them due to the relatively low health. Good for starter tames, not very well for mid to late game due to their low weight, health, and limited utility. I usually play on easy where u can knock a lv1 ～ lv 12 raptor out with only one bola and your fists. The earliest pack hunter available, but not the best option especially since there's a limit to how many u can tame(well, at least on mobile) i recommend skipping them and go right on to tame direwolves or allosaurs as they are also pack hunters but do it at least slightly better.

These are very fast mounts to use in the beginning of the game. They don't have much weight, so you won't be able to use it as a farming dino. They're mainly used for quick, lightweight travel and protection at the beginning of the game.

If you want to ride your raptor make sure you have pack of 4 to 5 raptors with you. This helps if you want to go meat-hunting. And don't send your raptors to their doom when fighting their Alpha. You're pretty much screwed. Well, your raptors are.

They only pounce on things that r smaller than it

By the way if your bola didn’t work and it’s still pounce on u there’s a chance your too close this is not a bug.The raptor can still pounce AND attack if your to close so try to stay at a render distance if u are to close they can do that not a bug

I have a level 120+ raptor named Raleigh. He moves faster than me when mounted, and I upgraded my speed A LOT. Raptors are officially the best mounts for speed.

So I did an experiment and turned my +% on speed per level to a lot. So turns out the higher the spd that the higher your speed AND dismount time

It is a deadly mount and also help you avoid some threats.Rex and Dilo won't attack you when mounted,it doesn't matter how close you get to them,they won't hurt.

A pack of lvl100+ Raptors can take on many threats easily.

Beware wild raptor will attack you when mounted.

Here is a quick thing to tell how many tranq and stuff u would need for a lvl 1 to a 150

Lvl 1:literally 10 or something slingshots not worth it lol

Lvl 30 if ur on easy mode then it's good can be tamed with 10 or so pieces of meat and 5 tranq i think

80:pretty decent to tame to get a better one needs a good amount of meat and tranq arrows

Lvl 150:ove not tamed one myself yet but if i could guess it requires a stack of meat and 20 or so tranq

Also when ur taking ANYTHING remember to put spikes sprout them raptors and dilos can easily remove all the taking effectiveness

These things are good when you get them a lot of health they can kill anything

Do not listen to Dododex they can fit through a door frames! I was tricked by this and left my two Raptors in a breeding pen with a door frame opening because I thought they couldn’t get out and they did they are as fast as -_- and I had to run around my base catching them 😐 so ya…
