Raptors are amazing and they are super easy to tame.I have 4 Raptors that can take down a bronto in seconds.I find it easiest to just hit the raptor with a bat and not bola them because they are fast and It makes it hard to bola.Most raptors only need 10 prices of meat so I would bring twenty just in case.Hope my tip helps you all.

How to tame a raptor

1. Craft bolas

2. Bola the raptor before it pounces

3. Hit it with a bat or punch

4. When knocked out, give it meat or kibble

5. The hardest part- keep it alive...

THEY ARE NEVER ALONE

Have 3 to more bola's slingshot or a club, narrcotiks arrows and 80 pieces of meat.

Tip: if you you have a baby raptor and wants to cuddle just tap the baby raptor and there you have a percentage of imprinting.

This is a very easy creature to tame

1#find a high rock, or bola it

2#start knocking it out

3#when it’s knocked feed it meat(I would prefer kibble)

4#then it’s all your hope this helps

I have tamed loads of these guys. Fairly easy especially with prime meat. Heres how to tame them:

Youll need: slingshot with 40 stone, five bolas, and 25 raw meat.

First, bola the raptor

Second, pelt the raptor with rock.

Third, feed it raw meat and keep track of its torpor.

Fourth, You have your raptor! Congrats!

If the raptor is at a low level than if you have at least 150% melee damage than just rush him/her and rapid hit it also you should have a good amount of health

This is how I tamed my raptor and it worked really well. You need tons of arrows because they’re hard to hit. I jumped into a high rock, had like 20 tranq arrows, parasaur kibble, and then after a minute it saw me and ran at me, then circled the rock. I eventually managed to hit it enough times that it conked out and I tamed it with 1 parasaur kibble. Boom! You have a raptor. They’re super fast on land but kind of slow in the water.

Put a wooden spike in front of it then use slingshot or tranq arrows to knock

Have a pachy fight it (wild or tamed mine fought a wild) then get on a high rock and shoot it with a tranq arrow and feed it 15-20 meat

These guys are rare for me on the island. does anyone know why?

Me and my friend games one and I did twice 1st by fall damage 2nd to lol 13 raptor we was trying to tame when I was trying to get my stuff back. Then he ran away and th raptor followed him and I got our stuff back then he came back alone I gave him his stuff the we went to where he lost the raptor and tamed it, we called her delta. Luckily she got home safely and wasn't murdered by one of the 2 baryonyx that live near our house.

It says quick and easy taming, more like time-consuming and complicated taming if you are a low leveled. You need like a tranq with a crossbow for that! How is that easy? Leveling up in hard mode is not easy so taming these things are a nightmare! You have to lure it to a wooden pen they are faster than you, you have to keep throwing bolas at it while also calming yourself down. If you miss one bola you’re dead unless you have chitin armor. Once you and the raptor is in the pen bola it once more, quickly get out of there and build a wall sealing its escape. 🤯 I died like three times unsuccessfully trying to tame one max level one 😡

Can be picked up by an argie, but can still attack you and your bird, bring health potions 🧪 and Alphas can break wood walls with a few good hits. Really important can now dismount you when on any Aerial creature. Even Griffins.

Its stupid easy to tame as long as YOU see it first. First charge your bola and get close enough that it chases you When it's close enough throw the bola Now the hard parts you now have three options to knock it out

1 A tranq arrow to the face, if that isn't enough then one to the body If it is a high level then rain it with arrows to the head as long as it isn't about to die. If it is about to die wait for the torpor to rise or try trapping it by building around it if taming a high level this is the only option aside from pachy/pulmnoscorpion

2 Slingshot it's body, this is the hardest option since you have to be fast, this needs to be knocked out before the bola effect is worn out and the slingshot is slow at dps... But this is the most inexpensive ranged way to tame one.

3 Beat it with a bat. Use a wooden club, fists will take forever and the bola will wear off. This part is important in this strategy which is to *GO BEHIND THE RAPTOR* IF YOU FACE IT IT CAN ATTACK AND POUNCE ON YOU

Go to swamp close to redwoods and if you see a rapper get its etention and when it comes after you blow it as fast as you can ok I did that with me and I got a level 150 in ark hard mode

Tip i.m tame 40 and kill a Rex and my 40 was lvl 100

It is hard that is all I can say
