Tbh just bola and punch it, if it’s a high level using tranqs or a club thing lol.

Once you get about 170% melee damage and 200 health (just to be safe), you can just walk around until you find one and start punching. They're kind of easy to tame at that point.

It's not that hard. It can actually go down with some punches. But it is hard to do that. Though I tamed two Raptors like that.

Trow bola and use wooden club or slingshot

Crarft two bolas, fling them both at the raptor then it won’t be able to move. Then you go up to the raptor and knock it out with your fist and put meat into its inventory.

All the people that said bola the raptor and tranq it were right of course there are other ways to knock a raptor out but this method is the best.

p.s in the time of writing this I tamed a level 90 raptor which is now a level 123

pp.s just feed it meat

If you Want to tame a raptor make sure to use a bola and a few tranq arrows and you will be good to go

Bolas do not work on alpha raptors so don’t even try it

Well i tamed a raptor lv.125 and it was easy as lemon squeezes but i knew that i had to stay higher ground and out of range from the pouncei thought i was gonna die because this thing killed me two times and because lack of confidence so when taming a raptor u have to have confidence first

The easiest way to tame those boring early game guys... Is making a 3x3 platform or cube and put the raptor in the middle, with a hole, they will fall down, and after use anytingh you can craft tranq ecc. Safe and best tricj

Don’t tame if not lv 30 so have a crossbow and 5 trank arrows

The best way to tame them is to get a wyvern, and pick them up and take them to your desired location. Don’t drop it in a box, but instead hover low to the ground while your friend shoots it. This has worked a number of times with me and I hope it will serve you well.

The raptor is a strong and fast mount . It's good for beginners and a tame.

Bring plenty of meat and have multiple bolas ready to go because chances are you will run into more than one. We went out hunting for hide and found not one or two, but four all hanging out on top of a hill. My partner had not caught up yet and the first one went agro. Threw a bola, hit second was already agro and jumped on me. She destroyed almost all of my armor before my partner caught up and freed me. The second ran off into the woods and we thought she was gone. We were unloading meat onto the first unconscious raptor when the second returned and killed my partner. I wasn’t fast enough with the bola to save her, but I did manage to tame the raptor while she was distracted. We ended up pulling 3 out of 4 raptors out of that hunting trip. The fourth ran off into the woods after somehow escaping the bola and never came back. We named the highest level Blue and the one that killed my partner (ICKitty) Kiki for Kitty Killer.

These juys will kill you in seconds so get a bola and a lot of meat and narcodics with a bow make sure you have narcoarrows and you have yourself a raptor wich can kill trikes.

tame them as soon as you can. make like 6 bolas even if you see one alone, it's friends are very likely near by. use tranc arrows or bat when bola'd and bola the rest of they come to defend him

easily shred any low level threat early in game with 3-4 raptors, I've taken several carnos out

Raptors are an easy tame using bola and tranquil arrows but like to start things they can't handle

Tamed 5 almost two 4 died one from me I left one in my base that's still alive☺
