The raptor being a fast predator.Make sure you have bola’s such as 2 or 3 depending on how many raptors there are.Make sure to have a slingshot bow or 2 to 3 clubs.

When you see one of these bastards lead that raptor and or it’s pals to a boulder that they can’t get up and stand on the rock and lite em up!

It says that you’ll need 3 kibble, but for taming a lvl 13 I only needed one. Don’t tame one that’s surrounded by many other raptors, find a loner and just bola it.

Throw a bola around it’s legs watch out for the pack then shoot the damn thing in the head with tranq arrows.

I haven’t done this personally but do this: tame 4-5 high level dilos pumped with mainly speed and heath, a little bit of speed, keep them all ob passive, find ONE raptor, aggro it, it rubs in a straight line, bola it, knock it out, set your dilos to attack your target, raptors run in groups, dilos are the 3rd MVP ( second being raptors and first being triceratops ) and feed it meat, or para kibble

Raptors are deadly one of the fastest Dino’s ever don’t lose sight of them bring bear trap or bola and KO arrows I found one and tamed it easily level 46 than I bro

ught it back to my base and than a alpha came and my raptor killed it! That thing is a life saver

Tamed a level 150 with raw meat killed a rex and 2 carnos together only go for high levels underrated

In my opinion the best early tame, just use a bóla and knock them out with a club or slingshot. Repeat and you have a pack of them. Also the saddle is only lvl 18.

I tamed a 200 on a boosted server x6 tame x4 gather and it got to a very high level super good tame

Don't miss with the Bola use prime meat

When using wood doorframes in aberration put doors on the so raptor doesn't escape dodo rex says the can't fit through but the can in aberration.

When you located a raptor run come back when you lvl 10 or whatever lvl u get slingshot bola it fast if you don't your dead meat literally

When your settled and can't get meat for your tribe you should go out on foot bring bolas slingshot at least 50 rocks and knock it out no kibble it waste of time then your probs are resolved well not your water issue

Taming a raptor

Find a raptor use bola to immobalize then start shooting it when knocked out put narcotic in inventory go through the process and you now have a great beginner mount

Good for taking out other dinos

I have a taming pen 2 walls high and if you have an argy it saves from needing bolas. Drop it in the pen and trank there

Great low-level tame. Spawn frequently on south end of island. Use a crossbow with tranq arrow and shoot them in the head, instant knockout for levels 1-25. They usually spawn near diplodaucus and paracer, so bring one down for some quick tame prime meat. Once you have a saddle, use it for fast movement. They run faster than most anything so you don't have to wear any armor. I advise wearing cloth because its lightweight. Attacks fast, so you only really have to increase weight and stamina, or speed if you're like me and want to cross the map very quickly without beds.

These guys are usually in groups. With a bola it's an easy tame, when tamed it is a early killing machine

Raptors are like hired killers you hire them by feeding them and they kill things for you

Steps to tame the "bob killer"( raptor) are:-

Take bolas

Take a knockout weapon

Bola the raptor

Knock out the raptor

Feed it meat

Raptor is tamed!

You can also aggro the raptor on any herbivore( weak ones like parasaur, turtle or dodo) and wait for the raptor to kill it. Then do the above given steps. The raptor will be tamed much more easily as its health is decreased by fighting the herbivore.
