Stay away use tranq arrows then get any food it says and feed it if it wakes up try again be prepared all the time and bring a saddle

I feel like creatures that get pack bonus should also get taming bonuses if you have that creature but tamed nearby. Like, you ride your raptor, find another raptor you want to tame, and since you already have one you it tamed twice as fast or something.

Unlike dilos raptors can still attack if hit by a bola

Bola them,but be carefull as they can still pounce on you while in a bola

Use a bola because it will murder you when it jumps so bola and knock.

I suggest using a bola and some Tranquilizer arrows

Up this so everyone can see: find one. Agro it from a distance. When it charges at you, bola it and shoot it’s head 4-7 times and feed it like 10 or more raw meat

These guys are SO EASY to tame. Just bola one and start punching. Then put in raw meat or prime meat but raw meat is cheaper and prime meat can be used for better things. I suggest raw meat. Happy Taming!!!

For parasaur kibble the female lay eggs when you’ve had them tamed for a while

If you’re going after a high level raptor you want to starve tame it with kibble to get it done fast.

You have to pay the raptor your life no matter what they did

I was taming one of these suckers and I made a trap to knock it out in. But for some reason it was escaping and I realized that it was going through the stone doorways and killed me.

SOOO THIS GUY YEAH they are literally the rats of ark excellent early game games but in early game they are usually in packs if not bola it and use a slingshot.

To tame a raptor, let the raptor pounce on your tribemate, bola the raptor, shoot it in the head with tranq arrows (head takes highest torpor) then feed it parasaur kibble. Even a level 300 raptor doesn't need narcotics with parasaur kibble.

Y’all seem to be wayyy too paranoid. Just make sure that your level is okay, and just keep hitting it with a bat. Keep a Dimorphodon with you just in case. Don’t get cornered.

If your on mobile use the hunt raptor pursuit to find one and if its not what level you want then cancel pursuit and find another with a high enough level you do want.

Get a medium mount like a parasaur, go next to a rock and dismount so you're on the rock, then throw a shoot an arrow at the raptor so it runs closer. It can't get on the rock so then you can Bola and tranq it. Tames very quickly or at least it did for me. Fast and good melee but stamina is not great so level that. Good at getting meat, hide, keratin etc.

Kill many many dodo’s for meat. It will come in handy if no parasaurs are around. Now find a pack but don’t take them all at once. I died because the raptors ambushed me one after another. So just bola them all slaughter the low lvl’s and tame high lvl’s. Upvote if worked for u.

All you need is at least hide armor and at least a slingshot they are easy to tame
