I built a 3x3 box with no ceiling and used my argentavis to pick up the raptor and drop it in to the box trap. Once it’s inside it’s a guaranteed tame if you have tranq arrows.

-build a door on one side of the box so you can shoot it.

-make sure the box is 2 walls high or it will attack you!

Make a bola throw it at a raptor hit it or your done for then club or fists

If there are raptors in a pack make sure they are separated and make one agro onto u and run really far from the pack, go onto a rock, bola it, tranq it and boom, You have a raptor

Use bola neither they can catch and kill you

Don’t let it pin you down, run around it and attack

Bola it, tranq it, have narcotics and meat,and it's good to go

If not then you're dead before it started

Tip: try to see it before it sees you, then bola from as far as possible and keep doing the two one ratio of two tranqs one bola until it's out, and keep an eye on the health as you may(probably not) kill it.

Use a pachys primary atack to kill it

Raptors are very fast and sneaky so you need to know where the raptor is at all times if your going to tame it. If you dont then they will sneak up on you and do a pounce attack. Bring a dino and at least two bolas just in case there are tewo raptors or you get pounced on. Knocking it out is simple. Just hit in the head with tranq arrows

When I was a noob and didn’t know how to LEVEL UP (super embarrassing) I had like 12 dodos and 2 Moschopses.It was a so-so life but then, the raptors came. All my tames died.

Now I’m a successful player at level 24 and I have 3 raptors but one day I noticed something...

I was searching for a raptor to tame. I saw one, and walked closer. I didnt saw him anymore. Then, he appeared put of nothing. But luckily, he nog lies unconscious on the ground.

If you are a low level, I recommed using a bola and primitive club. Taming food raw meat.

If your planning on taming a raptor a good method is to use a bola on the raptor and then keep hitting it in the head with the sling shot, make sure you take one or two more spare bolas just in case things go south or if the the raptor breaks out of the bola. Make sure to keep a bit of distance though due to the raptor being able to jump on top of you if you are close enough to it.

Get off flat land unless you have the stamina to f that terror chicken into sleep. I tried taming these on flat ground and I got massacred each time. Best is to damage it guide it and tame it from a rock that they can't jump. Best on a Paracer, Argy, or Rex since they can't kill faster than you should be able to tranq them.

When the taming a raptor simply bola it and hit it with a Dart gun to the head then simply Feed it meat to tame

Tamed raptors will eat fish meat over raw meat.

Take 2 bolas with you 4 if you wanna feel safe stay out of range because it can still jump on you if your too close hit it with your bola and crossbow one hit to head trank arrow depend what level it is and be out for its friends and don’t forget keep your bola ready

Just remember even if you hold these guys they can still pounce you, learned this the hard way...

All you need are a few bolas and a wooden club
