How to tame a raptor:

1) first find a raptor(s)

2) make sure you have plenty of bola's

3) wind and throw Bola

4) when raptor is trapped punch or use wood club and knock out

5) when knocked out make sure you have plenty of meat

6) wait for taming to finish

7) name your raptor!!!!

If you want a to save sleepy arrows shoot it 10 times and run the sleepy juice will go through there System when the run start to chase them

Bonus tip: if there in a pack normally there’s three if there’s more than three run also you can tackle uther raptors theres more butt for me I’m going to a Hotel I’m 10 I’m out of time

Raptors are easy to tame. You need to get bola and meat and club. Bola the raptor and knock it out with club. Feed meat until it’s tamed. They are really good so listen to this. UP SO NEWBS CAN SEE!

Some raptors roam in packs if you try to tame one there will most likely be another one you should bola them so they can’t move but atleast bring 5 to 8 based of how many raptors there are Recomend using anything that you can shoot off of and also have defense because the raptors might maul your Dino then you or use a flyer that you can shoot off of so you can have the high ground I learned this myself rip my ptera

How to tame on hard

First,you need to know levels,mostly their level will be 20-30 on hard,but if you are lucky enoug,you might meet 100-200 level

Tame

1,get bola(2 recommend)

2,find a raptor

3,trap him

4,use tranq arrow

5,give meat

6,wait(if you have smooth bean it will be easier)

7,now you got a raptor

Ya want one if this yeh this sick bi- kill you when ur new but the longer u go through the game they become weak for you yeah so if u wanna tame one ready your arm or bat but first turn lvl 7 get the bola craft the bola throw it at a raptor and the raptor wont be able to move that when u can hit it with a bat arm or tranquilizers arrow and give meet ones knock out and feed meat and you have tame a raptor now you can take revenge from this sick bi- dont mind the cursing pls thank you and good luck taming

3. Knock it out with fists or with slingshot

I would recommend go on a cliff and shoot with a song shot

How to tame:

1: Get a bunch of bolas or bear traps if u have access to it.

2: Find the raptor and immobilize it.

3: Knock it out (I recommend using tranq darts, tranq arrows and a crossbow)

4: Feed it prime meat or their preferred kibble.

5: Make sure to feed it some narcotics if their torpor is really low.

6: Equip the saddle!

7: Tame 5 of these and you'll be safe when exploring.

1: find lone raptor

2: bola it

3: two franks to the head

3: feed tons of meat . About 12.

4: if failed RUN.

I would reccomend using bear traps for theese and if you dont have metal use bolas too bring both if affordable, bring some meat, and craft a saddle, the way i tamed was with my pteranodon, i was flying above an island where i saw 2 and i set up 4 bear traps on the floor in case of a pack and lured them to the traps i chose one, shot him down with narcotic arrows in a crossbow, the other ones i shot with my pistol and then gave the unconcious one some meat and did not need narcotics, i am now planning to find a pachy and ankylo and explore the island even more, overall, raptors are speedy, strong and very mobile, they can jump high and everything, a great start dino, would recommend getting one!

Very easy to tame with a bola. I tamed a lv. 63 with lv. 8

It‘s a good meet farmer too.

You can easily take out these stickers with a tranq arrow or 2 (crossbow)

It is very hard to tame raptors stand up on a rock

Worth mentioning that they often travel in packs and like to attack from behind. If you're a low level player taming your first raptor, make sure his buddies aren't busy sneaking up on you.

How to tame a raptor

1: Either trap or bola it (you can skip this if you want)

2: Knock it out, preferably using a slingshot or tranqs

3: Feed it meat, prime, or mutton (PC)

4: Enjoy your new raptor and equip a saddle on it to ride it

This is how I tamed my first raptor:

1:I prepared 3 parasaur kibbles and 30 meat

2:I started the pursuit hunt raptor to localise them.

3:I searched a good and a high rock

4:I went back to base and prepared 33 tranq arrows

5:I went where there’s raptor and I went on that high rock

6:I waited t’ill a raptor comes and gets stuck on the rock

7:I head/body shot the raptor until it was unconscious

8:I fed it some meat and I lost my kibble…

9:after 2mins of waiting it tamed up!

10:I bought it to base away from a baryonyx.

I also lost my trike on the way he’s named Tokiwor.

Get bola I say three so you don’t miss 15 raw meat and then if you know ones nearby knock something out so it gets distracted by it the the bola at it and don’t be scared,don’t flinch, and don’t miss that gives time for the rapter and if he pounces on you your screwed if you did snare it with a bola then beat it up in the back with a club because it can still attack you after it’s knocked out toss it some meat and a little bit of narcotics
