K, I know that when I look through Dododex I’m looking for easy to understand tips, so. I highly recommend taming these once you have acces to bolas because they are AMAZING protectors. Bola it’s legs, knock it out with a club and put at least 20 pieces of meat in its inventory. Just be sure to watch out for more than one.

For easy raptor tameing for low level players bring 5 to 10 bolas in case you miss one of them or maybe sometimes they team up with oter raptor to tame a raptor for low level players kill dodo for raw meat or less dangerous creatures bring primitive slingshot get a lot of stone bola raptor hit head shot with the primitive slingshot once it's knocked out put raw meat in raptor inventory wait and tamed!

Here is a easy way to tame a raptor:get a few tranq arrows :grt a crossbow shoot them 1 time in the head and then feed them some meat that’s how I tamed mine

Raptors can climb rocks and it is like an instinct to climb rocks when there is danger

Be a true warrior and knock it out with your fists

Take a bola and hit the raptor then take a slingshot and start throwing rocks and it then when unconscious feed it any type of meat or kibble

Bola, slingshooter and raw meat (might need narcotics or narco berries if higher than level 44

I trapped one in a cage and tamed it. Took a little bit of time but it was easy once she was in there. Highly recommend

Build an four stone foundation and stone pillars in each side and a ramp of the other side (wherever you want to place) then lure the raptor in and U go out of the trap and start it knock out tranq or slingshot needed 15 narcotics during the tame and for good reason feed what kibble you want

To tame a raptor will sometimes be easy if there is a spot where they can't reach you or find a way up. You'll need some bolas and tranq arrows and if you dont have tranq arrows just use a wooden club to knock it out and give it the amount of meat the dododex says.

The starve target is wayyyyyu off!! Wait until it is like 200 away from starving then fill it up.

For taming these guys you will need a boala and like 4 tranquil arrows they have low torpor so they will go to sleep like me playing ark at 3 am I mean then you have to boala then then shoot tranquil arrows at then then give them meat (recommended prime meat) then you have an overgrown chiken!!!

Easy steps to tame a raptor ^_^

1. Get a few bolas js in case

2.find a raptor and bola it (if there are more kill them)

3. Bola it

4.go behind it so you don’t get attacked and knock it out using fists or arrows or rock(if it’s low level be careful to not kill it and take a few seconds in between each hit)

5. Give it some narco and put meat or prime

6. Give it a saddle or name and done!

Just find a single one and bola it, then a couple tranq arrows should work, feed it normal or prime meat its easier to obtain and your gonna wanna save the other stuff

Just tame a male and a female, breed them, tame others when you can and breed them too, and soon you will have an army

Don’t know why everyone’s saying step one make bolas. Was I supposed to..? I just use arrows and almost die but that’s how I got 4-6 of my raptors the rest were bred

A tip for taming raptors tip 1 get meat tip 2 find a rock tip 3 bola it and it is with a slingshot

So what I did was bola it stand on a high rock that it can’t get on and used my slingshot the raptor was level 115 but I did it and when it tamed I went to go kill some sarco but sadly it died bc of a stupid level 143 thirizeno I don’t know how to spell its name

If you are looking to tame a raptor I recommend using a bola to pin it down the problem with raptors is you need to tame a high level one because low levels 1 to 10 get killed really easy when they your trying to tame one and then it try’s to kill therazeno or triceratops and sum times dilaphasoars and then it’s dead and then you have to go look everywhere to find a good leveled one.One time I found a level 29 I was so close to taming it I had it pinned down with a bola but sum stupid dilos attacked it and a little bit ago it was attacking something it survived but it was on low health I bolad it and then sum dilos came out from nowhere and started attacking it and then I shot the raptor with a tranq arrow and it died raptors are a nightmare to tame it took my over a week to find a good level one and have it not die and then I finely tamed two really good raptors I’m not saying raptors are bad they are really really really good but you you need a good level one the point is they are hard to tame especially if you are low level now moving to the up sides of raptors they have a nice little jump attack that pins enything small enough and what’s really good about them is of you have a pack of raptors the highest level one with become the alpha and then you get the ebillity to call for your pack just like in Jurassic park and then you will get extra damage for the alpha and for the rest of the pack and if your riding the alpha which why wouldn’t you want to ride the alpha you can whistle and then you can send them to attack what ever you want but don’t send them against a spino or a Rex or something like that or else all your hard work of taming them will be gone but then when you send them against something they will shred it and you need 4 or more raptors for it to be considered a pack and note that you can’t tame wild alpha raptors any wild alphas in ark are untamable and your alpha is not going to be as strong as a wild alpha it’s not possible to get a alpha as strong as wild alphas another good thing about the raptor it’s a good harvester early in the game for hide and meat but another bad thing about raptors is that it has terrible stamina and terrible weight but it’s really fast I recommend you tame raptors there not as good as like spinos or rexes or that kind of stuff but they are really good
