For taming these guys you will need a boala and like 4 tranquil arrows they have low torpor so they will go to sleep like me playing ark at 3 am I mean then you have to boala then then shoot tranquil arrows at then then give them meat (recommended prime meat) then you have an overgrown chiken!!!

Easy steps to tame a raptor ^_^

1. Get a few bolas js in case

2.find a raptor and bola it (if there are more kill them)

3. Bola it

4.go behind it so you don’t get attacked and knock it out using fists or arrows or rock(if it’s low level be careful to not kill it and take a few seconds in between each hit)

5. Give it some narco and put meat or prime

6. Give it a saddle or name and done!

I have a tip for taming a raptor. Instead of using raw meat or prime meat, I suggest making parasaur kibble, since it can help tame a raptor fast. Para Kibble is contained of:

Parasaur Egg (can be collected from a tamed female or wild female)

Rockcarrot (can be found under jungle ferns)

Cooked meat or meat jerky (I prefer cooked meat if you wanna save time)

Mejoberry

Fiber

Waterskin

Cook in a cooking pot!

If you are ever taming a raptor you will need about 3-5 tranq arrows and some meat I would remmomend a minor soothing balm if you are impatient like me try to get closer to the head with shots because a headshot can tranq them in one shot if your using a cross bow equip a grappling hook to lower the damage to 35 so it won’t kill the raptor brain up to 5-7 narcotics if the raptor your taming doesn’t sleep long it will take about 4-5 mins to tame without minor soothing balm and 2 mins with soothing balm bring extra tranqs just in case you find a high lvl raptor and bring a saddle

I am playing on Ragnark and I tamed a 145 rapter vary good tames I live in the redwoods and he can demolish all the dinosaurs. It only took 25 naco arrows give or take

on mobile you can use the hunt: raptor pursuit to track any raptors on the map to find and tame them easier.

If you want a good trusty stead, a raptors the one for you!

1. Wait for it to run at you and throw a bola

2. Shoot it with Tranq arrows (I recommend using the crossbow or the longneck rifle, but the bow can work to)

3. Chuck some meat in and Boom! Got your self a raptor my dudes.

I would recommend being at least lvl 15 befor tamping one

Just tamed one with a bola and club; I'm lvl 14

Woah got triplets first try in single player now I got a raptor pack, of course the highest lvl one is named alpha

When trying to tame a raptor, ( which is very worth it in early game) try and hit it with as many narco arrows as you can. When it charges, do t run; just have a club ready. Shoot it as many times as you can with arrows and once it reaches you, just whack the crap out of it with your club. And be sure to have meat ready to tame with.

All you need is 5-10 tranquilizer arrows a bola like 10 meat. Then just bola it shoot in the head with tranquilizer arrows until it knocks out the give it meat. Enjoy your new pet!

Here is a easy way to tame a raptor:get a few tranq arrows :grt a crossbow shoot them 1 time in the head and then feed them some meat that’s how I tamed mine

Beginner tip: if u see a raptor with an orange aura means that hes about to get knocked down so go and punch him and boom last thing you know you got a brand new raptor

If you tame one of these in the south of The Island than get out of there fast because: I just tamed a raptor with Tintoberry (my carbenemys) then I was ready to get back but I was first checking for danger but I didn’t see any. But then out of sudden NOWHERE an ALLO PACK jumped out at us and ripped Tintoberry apart. Then my raptor I just tamed started fighting to and got ripped apart. And that’s how I lost Tintoberry and Lime :,(

K, I know that when I look through Dododex I’m looking for easy to understand tips, so. I highly recommend taming these once you have acces to bolas because they are AMAZING protectors. Bola it’s legs, knock it out with a club and put at least 20 pieces of meat in its inventory. Just be sure to watch out for more than one.

I technically teamed an alpha raptor, I didn’t use cheats or anything, but I was playing on Ragnarok on the switch and a group of raptor had spawned outside of my old base, so I decided to tame them, among these, this one happened to be the highest level and it had brownish black burnt, looking scales for the back, silky, black midnight feathers and a red underbelly I tamed all of them. This one is now the alpha of the pack. ;-; (wasn’t Alpha when I tamed it, but I have an alpha now lol)

1. Get: Sleeping bolas and darts 2. Find raptor/s 3. Throw a bola 4. Throw sleeping arrows so the raptor goes to sleep 5. Put food in his inventory 6. And here you go, you have a raptor! 😘
