2 Find a lone raptor

3 When it sprints towards you throw the bola at it

4 Knock it out with a slingshot to the head

5 Put meat in it’s inventory and you have a raptor

bola it then go to its butt and whack it with a club. use those dodos to your left and boom you got a raptor. tamed a lvl 174 tek raptor like this i think you can handle it

I am having a very hard time taming a Raptor right now because when I bolla it as soon as I hit or shoot it it escapes the bola and attacks me normally killing me even when it has ten bolas around it’s legs so The only way I am able to tame it is by standing on rocks and shooting at it from there . I am playing on an island by myself at the easy level if that helps.

Just build a small stone shed near a raptor/raptors, make them follow you in there bola them if needed. Get out of shed, close door and just slingshot them till knocked out, and go back in and tame them. Stone shed all with windowed walls ofcourse.

Raptors are hard to tame unless you know what you’re doing

Pro tip on raising any child

They will have “wander” set automatically so set it off once you put it in a safe spot (e.g your base, animal pen, etc)

Use a Pteranodon and fly above it, just out of reach of the jump. Lure it into a small dino trap, maybe 2 by 2, with a dinosaur gate, regular sized, and doorframes for walls so you can get out. The raptor will chase you and get stuck on the frames, and you can shoot it. Enjoy your tamed raptor! Vote up pls

If you are go to tame a raptor at night, make a distance because they will attack suddenly so, make a distance to dodge his attack and go to a perfect place to tame a raptor.

how to tame a raptor for beginners!

step 1:craft a few bolas(about 3) in case u miss or there is a pack

step 2:stand on a high rock (make sure the raptor can’t climb up)

step 3:throw the bola

step 4:shoot with tranq arrow+bow/crossbow

step 5:feed it raw meat or kibble(recommended for higher lvls)

kibbles:simple or parasaur kibble

step 6: get a raptor saddle and u have a beast now:)

WARNINGS: the raptor is very fast and can pounce on u

u might need bio toxin/narcotics/narco berry if higher lvl
