So i smaked a raptor with the bola in the nik of time and it was a female and brown red the color was red and brown and its gen was female so it was like barry! So i named her barry and seted of! Like the gamimg beaver vid were barry died for RESPECT!

Step one: make bolas and tranq arrows

Step two: bola your raptor

Step three: knock her out

Step four: enjoy you damn noob

It is easy to find one just never do the raptor hunt accomplishment. And there location want to show up on the map and 2-10 arrows depending on the level and I would recommend a crossbow for levels over 25 gun for levels over 75 Trank darts And a knockout animal for any higher than that

Step 1 make a bow and 10-15 tranq arrows

Step 2 locate a raptor (I find them near the opposing land to herbivore island

Step 3 bola it kill the rest if in pack unless you want to tame them too

Step 4 feed it meat (preferably prime meat if you have it)

Step 5 enjoy your raptor

Here’s a tip. Wait til’ you have either a slingshot and bola or bow with tranqs to tame this Dino

It’s was so hard I bola it and it escaped and killed me 😿

There is a bug or a feature in mobile maybe in pc ok let me explain 🤔when u tame a Dino there food bar will empty because if u tame them after sleeping 😴 and u immediately after 3-4 minutes u knock them unconscious boom their food bar will be empty tip try to hit half torpor at night and use any bed to sleep and after that knock them there food metre will be empty 👁👄👁 work on any Dino try it on dodo first for understanding

How to tame a raptor.

1. Get 2+ bolas for a pack or if you miss.

2. Find the raptors (this step is kind of hard. There always there when you don't want them to and they are not there when you want them!)

3.Pick the raptor closest to you (If there is a pack do this step, if there isn't ignore it.)

4. Try to get it's attention, but when it sees you and runs after you, stop. (If there is a pack, and you get to close they will come after you to.)

5. Wind up the bolas when it starts running after you and trap it.

6. Knock it out with fists or club.

7. Put meat,kibble, ect, but if there are more leave some over.

8: you may want to repeat steps or kill the other ones, they might try to kill the unconscious one.

9. Wait.

Good early game tame, a few bolas and a bow and some tranq arrows or even a slingshot and some rocks is enough. Just bola and knock it out, and get a few. They can kill many things you encounter early game and are helpful for collecting hide and meat. Also really fun to get 20+ Of and attack things with.

Thats a annoying creature but there are a easy way to tame it! Even with sling shot

1-get 10 bolas wih you also if you are using tranq arrows then get 3 5bolas

2-bola it and start hitting him

3-make sure if 8 second passed then use another bola.

4-once get knocked down get some narcotics and make it unconscious till the hunger bar of it goes half

Taming foods of a raptor is - rawmeat prime etc and parsaur kibble and bam you have a new raptor:)

1.collect raw meats

2.craft a bola

3.search for a raptor

4.throw a bloa to its face

5.punch it in its back until its knocked

6.put in the inventory the raw meat

7.wait

9.SUCCESS

The first time I saw a raptor I was dead in the sand and I learned that you should always carry a bola

Be carefull new ark players these raptors will cling on you and kill you. It is most recommended to use a bola to knock out and tame this creature with raw mutton and primemeat

In mobile, if you are struggling to find a high level, use the 'hunt raptor' pursuit to help locate where raptors are.

To tame this boi is actually very easy if your prepared

Recommended items: tranq arrows,bow,bola,club,meat,prime meat, narcotics,spike walls ( to defend him )

Step 1: make bolas

Step 2: look for a raptor( that is separated from a pack)

Step 3: get his attention and use the bola on him

Step 4: now knock him out with a slingshot,tranq arrows or club

Step 5: defend him with spike walls

Step 6: feed him narcotics and meat ( prime meat recommended)

Step 7: now you have an early game murdering machine

Encountering and taming

When you encounter a raptor unprepared you should immediately leave the area. Come back when you have these five things, multiple bolas (incase you miss or there is a pack), a ranged weapon that has some form of tranq ammo (slingshot, bow, crossbow, or a long neck rifle), tranq ammo, narcotics, and taming food. Once you have all of these things go back to the area where you found the raptor, once you find the raptor again, bola it. Once it bolad shoot it in the head with your tranq ammo, once it is knocked out wait, this is called starving, make sure it doesn't wake up by feeding it narcotics. Once you are done starving it put food in it's inventory, it will now eat until it is tamed. Also make sure nothing damages it this will ruin it's taming effectiveness meaning that it will lose some of the levels gained.

Good job, you have tamed your raptor. If you haven't brought a saddle for it, it can be learned at level 18, and can we crafted anywhere. Their primary attack is a slash and bite simultaneously, and their secondary attack is their pounce attack which works the same as it does with wild rapters.

This is the fastest, and cheapest way of taming a raptor (although it is kind of risky):

1)Find one raptor all on its own. (you can try to tame multiple at once if you feel like a badass)

2)Shoot a rock at it and make it aggro on you.

3)Bola it while it's running straight at you.

4)Once you did that, go behind it and punch it's butt with a club or shoot stones at it's face.

5)Feed some meat and narcs.

They are an extremely useful tame for early game and this metod is very good for when you don't want to level up to get it's saddle. You can use them to get quick meat or as your personal body guard.

Find a group of raptor. Bola all of it and use spear and kill the lowest level raptors and make sure the raptors are bola safe. Bola it like 3 or 2 times. If u have tranq arrows it will probably take 2 to 4. It depends on how high the lvl is. Make sure no stupid thing interrupts your taming.

The easiest way to tame a Raptor is to bolo it and keep tranqing it every 4 seconds throw a bolo they brake out of them easily
