The day my dad died from cancer was the day I tamed my first raptor I named him after my dad, Randall. I loved Randall I took him everywhere and he stayed with me through everyone fight. Even the tough ones😭😭

Probably Artemis or Diana, the goddess of the hunt.

Chapter 1- Something New and Strange

I stood on the beach, the sun was high in the sky, the pteranodons were squawking in the sky, and the trees swayed gently in the breeze. It was the first time in weeks that I had such a peaceful moment. Then the smell of meat came up to my nose and seconds later my mom yelled “Lunch is ready!!”. I smiled as I went into our cave to eat. We had the usuals, Dodos.. Dilos... and fish. As my mom cleaned the leftover bones from the eating rock my dad smiled and said in a cheerful voice “It’s hunting time, get your claws sharp!”. (Later) I begun to wander away from home when I found something weird and awesome... a hooman. (Chapter two coming soon!)

The Overconfident Raptor

A short story by DTG:

That day started out like the rest for the man: boring, forgettable, and worst of all, pointless. What could change? The world just sucked for him now.

The old man was no different at first either. Boring and pointless. Then it happened.

"From you I ask a favor." The man said, weak with age. The old man could not want much could he? "There is a tree on that mountain." He said, lifting a finger and pointing to it. "What about it?" He asked, confused. "It has a history. My family has owned it and has eaten its fruit for decades, but they want to cut it down to build on."

The "they" of course, was referring to the small government of the place. "I'll go up and see what I can do, but not for free." He told him, so the man tossed him a coin.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The man was a fool. Well, both were. He didn't care about the tree, he wanted the poor unsuspecting man to rid the place of me. I was smarter than that.

The truth was that, ironically, MY family had owned the land, and therefore the tree. Humans always think they're better than us, when in reality they are arrogant fools.

The man climbed steps up to the top of the small mountain. It must have taken forever. He had a spear just in case. I watched as he climbed. I hid well, and the weak eyes of the man weren't able to gaze upon even my outline.

Once he had reached the top I prepared to pounce. I assumed I would easily take his life, but he fought hard, and I collapsed in defeat fairly quickly. He was about to finish me with his spear, but let me live instead.

I laid there for what felt like hours.

I learned two things that day:

Don't be arrogant and don't underestimate others.

I had a raptor egg, hatched it forgot to feed it and it died.. level 120 raptor egg.. blue and black.. absolutely gorgeous I was gonna name it Jackie but I couldn’t.

So I was searching for dilos and came across a river and saw 5 sarcos then I turned and saw 3 Raptors hunting a para it ran into the river then the Raptors lost intrest on it one saw me and they were running at me and two raptors jumped into the river and got eaten the other one died from two spears to the face that was coolest thing I saw

You are officially a savage when you tame about 30 raptors and just run around slaughtering everything that comes relatively near you

So when I was playing ark I had 2 Rapters one Male the other female so I bred them as soon as the egg hatches and I imprint and name it Elizabeth we r raided and all our creatures died so I'm very sad :(

This story basically started all the tames we got so this story takes place when me and my brother where NOOBS we where on a beach and found two raptors one green and one like a tan color we bolaed them and knocked them out but I wasn’t so easy we almost died (I think) we fed them and I got the green one and my brother got the tan one I named mine green and my brother named his red we had a pack of raptors and we found a pure red one and so we named that one red and named the old red to Fay, the pack of raptors we had we strong they could take down lots of things of course I can’t name them cause I forgot, again it was a long time ago we loved those raptors with all out hearts but one day we I think we had argents and we where flying around on them and you might think WhAt DoSe ThIs HaV tO dO wItH rApToRs well once we got back they where GONE MISSING at the time we did not know and forgot about them cause we killed off the other raptors the only raptors we had where fay and green
