Just bola it, use a good slingshot or a bow and use tranqs, if it's above level 174 to level 450 then I suggest using a small ramp trap and just bola it so you can get a few headshots and when its knocked, for low level raptors just use meat, but for high or max level raptors it's recommended using simple kibble or parasaur kibble, If your playing the Jurassic park expansion mod and taming velociraptors then I recommend using a taming pen with window frames as even a level 1 jp velociraptor can destroy a player even with full ascendant flak armor

Taming raptors is almost as easy as taming dilos Except for their pounce and their running speed, which is why your gonna need a few bolas, but from there, you knock them out with just your fists, kill some stegos or diplos and tame your raptor with prime meat as it will make taming easier, when it wakes up tamed, make sure to feed the raptor to heal it fully

Raptors are so easy to kill once you get metal items and guns even alphas

Just because they are far away from you doesn’t mean they will not go to your area. I saw one far

Away from the base and 2 minutes later boom he knocked me down like a person who needs life alert and now

I’m dead. This travel distance makes them very hard to avoid. Keep a bowla on you seriously.

When knocking out a raptor make sure bola it and stand far enough back that it can't snap at you the best way to knock it out is with tranq arrows or tranq dart bola it and then hit it with tranq arrows/darts to knock it out and to tame it

If you want to tame one just kill all the others in the pack and bola the highest level (if theres a pack leader tame that for bonuses) and start hitting it with a club or shoot it with tranq arrows in the head.

Dont bring a peterandon under the level of 75 to tame a raptor u will die😅😅

These guys are very violent, I advise you that when you see one of them, run to a neutral dinosaur close to you, because there will be a fight between the dinosaur and the raptor, giving you time to escape.

This is what I did when I was a noob and I did not want to die to a raptor turn back and don’t stop running and most importantly don’t look back in till you know your safe

If you’re gonna tame a raptor and you’re wondering what it’s level is get a spyglass first. and that will help you a ton it’s gender it’s level and what it looks like.

These things are op for me (a noob) so heres how I got it

1 can find raptors use mission/task hunt raptor it will take to an area full of them

2 bola them and knock them out using fist,traqs,slingshot (what I used)

3 feed kibble or meat the dododex will tell you

Also protect it from dying

And bam you have a raptor

I use ark mobile and I am a noob/new player so there may be better way that I don't know

If you’re looking to tame a lot of these dudes at once, build a stone trap, get the attention of a bunch then lure them all into the trap and knock out and tame them all

:( sorry by the double jump does not work I meant that it doesn’t make you jump higher. You can still jump and then pounce.

They are absolutely amazing dino bcz there saddle unlocked at just level 18 and they have good movement speed and damage (tame it starter)

1. Find some raw meat 🥩

2.get a bola

3.bola the raptor

4.use club or trenq arrow to uncoinseas him

5.Feed him meat(if you are trying to tame a hight level raptor use narcotics or bio toxin)

6.always look around for safety

Boom 🤯 you tamed a raptor 🦖

This tip is for batteling Alpha Raptors in Ark Survival Ascended.

In ASA, Alpha’s can now eat corpses, but tooday I noticed they can’t eat baby corpes. So If you want to kill an Alpha Raptor, make sure he kills a baby dino and while he’s attacking the corpes put some arrows in the head. I tried it myself and it works!

YOOOO what is up guys QWERTY here just saying these things can pounce on some creatures like moschops as far as I know. I might tast out the pounce a bit more. Also, on mobile, you need to swipe down on the left side of the screen to initiate pounce.

Alpha raptors cann Not perform a jump attack.

Always expect a raptor to be in a pack so bring bring enough meat and bolas to get al least 3

A raptor is a good pet for the middle/after start of the game. This is a easy tame but a strong fighter, all you need is:

6 ish meat. ( raw or cooked ) can be fish or prime meat. ( prime meat is the best )

Your fist. Or if you want it to go faster- use a sling-shot or arrows.

Boa. This is HIGHLY RECOMMEND and don’t just bring one. Bring 2+ you may miss the first time.

Nock out the raptor. ( so they don’t pounce on you go into the water.) boa it. And keep your distance because it can still attack and pounce on you if your using your fist!

Then feed them some meat or fish. 6+ meats

( and don’t worry. At first it seems as that the meat wasn’t good enough- but it will kick up the tame % about 50% of the way through.)

(Then while it’s taming if you haven’t already- craft a saddle.)

Then make sure it’s tamed and equip the saddle.

That’s about it!!

And I recommend leveling up: HP, DMG, and speed. And if you carry a lot, upgrade
