We need varients on here...like the x-creatures and tek creatures

Very much usefull in early and mid game .A pack of four or five can deal with carno or allos .I killed 3 Theizinosaurs in early which spawned near my base

To kill an alpha raptor you need a high level raptor and a high damage bowmake ur raptor jump on it and just keep shooting it

Great at collecting prime meat from bodies

One time I came across a alpha raptor and at the time I was new to the game I tried to knock it out with a bat

A way to get a raptor is to make sure your ready for a pack because that what they travel in because you can easily die to a raptor pack my tips are going to be helpful

1:prepare 3-6 bolas to bola and knockout your tame and the pack

2: bring your preferred knockout choice mine is a bow and tranq arrows

3: bring meat or if you have acess to it prime meat

4: put meat in the raptor or raptors

5: while it’s taming make a saddle

6: you now have a raptor you can now name it and raid with it or anything you please

7: note this is if you have two of different gender breed your raptors to get better raptors and more raptors.

If you don’t have a bola or tranqs then just run into the water, for some reason they run away from you when you touch water. If that doesn’t work go underwater they can’t go underwater.

The first time I tamed a raptor, it instantly got killed by three others before I could even name it. RIP whatever your name was.

Raptors are incredible but in a pack unstoppable on official with my raptor pack 175+ (and I have 14) killed an alpha Caron with no pain and I have no doubt about killing an alpha t-Rex

One killed me and I came back and it said it was tamed by me

I just make a trap,

6 wood foundations

8 wooden stairs

10 wooden walls (all on each foundation)

2 wood ceilings

1 ladder

Put the foundation in two rows of three-

⬜⬜⬜ like that but without the space in the middle

Then put the walls around it

After that put 4 stairs on each side of the trap (2 at the top and 2 in the ground)

Then put the 2 wood ceilings in the middle of the trap. (This will cause the raptor to be too big to move, it might stay still)

Put the ladder some where near the ceiling so you can get up on it. So when a raptor is chasing you you can run up the stairs and jump on the ceiling, but aberration would be harder cuz the Raptors jump, but if not on aberration, the raptor should fall in, then go on the ceiling and start tranquilizing it or just hit it, itll become unconscious! (I learned this by experience.)

When i was a noob i was starting to make a house, but then a alpha raptor attacked me and killed me. Later i tamed a red raptor who is level 20. I was wandering with my raptor, when i lost myself in the map. I suddenly forgot where my house is. I wandered the map for a long time till 3 raptors attacked and killed me and my raptor. I didn’t name the raptor yet. I finally found my house. Tip: never forget where your house is. I still don’t have a raptor, yet.

This is a very good tame, took down two carbos without prob. Defiantly a need. Easy tame too as long as it isnt a alpha.

I suggest getting Eerie raptor it looks cool at night

Always have a bola on you so if you see it you can trap it n kill or tame. Or have some strong weapon like an ascendant sword or anything to kill it fast... BEWARE!! cause if it comes too close, it will pounce at you and pin you to the ground. Then all you can do is “absolutely nothing” except watch it eat you to death! Good luck! Also, always expect there to be more than 1 raptor. Play it safe!

Hi I love ark and I just want to tell you that a raptor is amazing!!! They are very loyal and are strong Dinos. I have two of them a male named fang and a female named echo (and yes there mating😍) there the most reliable pets I have. Please get this Dino. to knock out you need a slingshot or tranq arrows and at least 3 bolas then it’s all about feeding (please make sure that you don’t accidentally kill it I have made that mistake before)

If you get a posse of these, you can take on practically anything. Even having 15-20 raptors makes any Rex easy to take down if you’ve leveled them up enough. I’d recommend upping their stamina and damage if tamed.

currently using as caravan guards due to their speed and damage definitely worth getting
