Why do they have a pin attack? It is annoying!!

Raptors seem to be able to fit through doorways (atleast on the mobile version it seems, unless they can jump over a 2 high walls)

Can we add a list of what all creatures the raptor can pounce on.

Also what creatures it can take you off of.

So there’s already a comment on this but it must be said. They can pounce you now and there’s nothing you can do to get them off. You just sit and watch as they rip through your face and pet parasaurolophus. Your best chance? Throw a Spear, launch a slingshot, repeat until it dies, and then T-bag it.

I was Taming a Theri, and two of these little fckks came and killed it.

Waited 50 mins, my theri already was 87% tamed.

The theri was black and white it was a true beauty but it got killed :( ripp.. it was level 56 :/ rly hard to knock out

I was on south area 2 easy zone which a para and a Dilo when a pack of raptors ran up killed me and my para my Dilo escaped the massacre but is probably traumatized by the experience.

Just a moment of fact, this Dino commonly called a ‘raptor’ is supposed to resemble the Utahraptor ( Which just about all of you on Dododex know about ), and I have watch videos from Dino experts, and they explained how the Utahraptor actually wa covered in feathers and that the Utahraptor’s “hand” , that as seen in other films or games such as Jurassic world and ARK, bends down, but is proved to have not been able to bend and was actually stiff. Yet ARK is a fantasy game so I don’t expect to see any changes, just was mentioning a fact

I don’t know why, but I am able to kill a Raptor with about 3-5 arrows, using normal bow

Always carry tranqs with longneck rifle. If you want to kill some, get a sniper of assault rifle with over 10 ammo

Do not attack an alpha, it is freaking over powered, killed my Rex! A freaking Rex vs a raptor and the .raptor won

Make sure you lock your doors.

Make sure you don't have a pack of raptors because they mantrap you

If you have a bow you will be fine but watch out for alphas... NO!!!! IM HAVING BAD MEMORIES NOW CALL 911 IM HYPERVENTILATING!!!!!

If it happens that an alpha raptor is near your base and you're worrying about your dinos to be killed, get a swimmer pet and kite it to the water and tadaa enjoy some xp

You dont need to be faster than it to escape, bring somone slow and bola them for extra time. 😎 😢🐲

Just carry a bola with u and use it on them. Then start beating it with fists or clubs to k.o them and they become ur pet

Raptors can be quite alarming to beginner players, as I would know espicaly when I was out with my tribe and we got chased by a rex only for me to get killed by a raptor. They really are very fast, so be ready to run! Crossbows can take them out quite easily, so don't be too frightened. Definitely not the scariest Dino I've come across! Once tamed though they're really great mounts, one of my fave Dino's ??

They're very easy to kill later on, but harder in the beginning of the game. Always carry bolas with you and tame a few dilos so they can distract the raptors when they attack you. If you have enough health, you can kill them with a wooden spear.
