Raptors are annoying enough, especially when they jump on you and attack you. But I got hit by a freaking ALPHA RAPTOR...AND I'M NOT EVEN LEVEL 12.

My stupid monkey brain thought, "Ooh! Wouldn't it be cool and useful to have an alpha raptor?" (I previously lost my first and last raptor to a carno and promptly erased my save.)

THAT STUPID FRICKING DINOSAUR RAN AT ME LIKE ITS TALL WAS ON FIRE, KILLED MY PARADAUR, THEN PROCEEDED TO MURDER ME IN TWO SWIPES AND I LOST ALL MY STUFF

When u r running away from these guys early game u r probably gonna die so try to run to the closest herbi and aggro the raptor onto it! This saved me an embarrassing amount of times lol

Who all hates the alpha raptors i know I do

My friend and I just tamed a pachycephalasaurus since we just started and we saw a raptor in the woods nearby he crafted a bola, and went to tame it I realized there was a pack but it was too late they went after him and I got them to focus on me I used admin commands to fly away, but I didn’t have the gear to get rid of them so I went back to my friend. Turns out he never got pachy out of the way so the pack killed him I instantly shut down my console knowing that it wouldn’t save. AVOID RAPTORS UNLESS YOU HAVE BOLAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Raptors can not pounce you unless it’s an aberrant

We all have to agree this was the hardest tame early game

Ah, I get this now! Tip! New players would 100% die from only 1 raptor unless if your very experienced at ark then probably 50% with 2 raptors. But a whole pack of raptors-…(some raptor screech noises)…..(chomp)…….(silence)

Lol good luck with encountering, try to bring a very strong tame with you, mostly for distracting or protecting, suggesting a trike and etc stronger ones, you may survive!

This is not a Velociraptor!!!! Ark raptors are actually a sub species of Utahraptor!

When I was on a adventure with my allosaurus I found a pack of 5 raptors I managed to tame them all I also named them Blue,Charlie,Echo,Delta and Tango when I visited the raptors in their cage I saw Blue mating with Tango and their new egg after that day I saw a Spino heading towards my base it was coming near the raptors so I decided to make spike wall and lure Spino near raptor cage to kill it I succeeded but it was another Spino coming near the raptors so I decided to lure Spino into a empty cage where it was trapped and knocked out so I decided to tame it

I scare of them not because they dangerous, im scare of them because they can throw me off my mount and pin me down so other dino could come and beat me up

If you get pinned by a Raptor on Mobile, start praying that you have enough health to outlast its attack

Once you learn to craft bolas, these guys are not a major threat anymore.

So basically I tamed two dodos when it was night I entered my base but I realized I made a big mistake since there was a raptor close to my base and I left my dodos outside and I heard the dodos get attacked by a raptor and it was trying to get to my base once it destroyed my door I tried fighting it but the most annoying thing about them is that they literally pounce on you and you can't do anything so that's what happened and no matter what happens I keep dying because of raptors.

Do not approach this in early game. Maintain a distance ever with some tamed dilos please even in late game these mess with you and even can kill you un-prepared.

There was a HUGE pack of raptors and I was alone. And I was left dead on the sand as the raptors tore into me. Wow.

I HATE THEM THEY CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND KILLED MY PHIOMIA DUCK THEY CAN BURN IN HELL

Whenever u stumble accross one of these just run and try to run it any other creature like a trike diplo a parasaur it will be distracted, use that opputunity to run.do not engage head on unless u have a good armor and weapon

These guys are very annoying when you're taming things one of em killed my knocked out therezino I was at 50% beware new players but if you're strong enough bring you're spino and wipe you're area of these guys

Let’s just say if they find you you better. Hope you have a bola because they will attempt to rip you to shreds especially if they’re in groups. Trust me past experience.
