To everyone who says this is the worst dino, Utahraptor Prime, sub-species of Utahraptor, did you know you can tame one? It’s really not that hard. 😂

They are the best starter tames if u live in danger areas I had a pair of them I breed them and now I have 6 I killed 2 high level allosourus and 3 therizino and 3 spino with them they are op of u breed right ones

If you bola it make sure to stand near the back if you hit it at the front it will hit you

These guys, for some reason, can't beat turtles. Several times I have seen a 1v1 between a level 30 raptor and level 10 turtle, turtle is barely standing but the raptor goes down regardless. So if you see ONE fighting a turtle, it's a lost cause.

Hey if your a mobile user and you want to breed anything and need to turn on wandering to get rapter tres or how ever many put a bunch of rocks in their inventory to encumber them so the cant run away feom froced baby making

Got a raptor attack hide in a swamp and gets an anduconda to follow you and get them to fight

Super easy tame! So all you have to do is get some bolas, and find a raptor. Oh and also have a couple tranq arrows to knock out. Try and stay away from packs and try to find a single one. Wait till it runs at you and bola it from a fair distance. Then shoot it with tranq arrows. It won't take many. Then feed it meat or kibble. When tamed equip your saddle! Hope this helped : )

So when I was taming one (about 3 minutes from when this was put on here) I went to dododex to see how much raw meat it needs, so after, I put 9 pieces in it's inventory, and when it was 88.9 % tamed and then a THERIZENOSAUR COMES OUT OF NOWHERE AND KILLS IT RIGHT WHEN IT'S TAMED!

Breed these with Rexes. Legend says their babies will attack anything you point a laser pointer at.

If early game and have no mount It is knock out or die as the are so fast.

If your levels are too low to craft pteranodon saddle i recommend you riding a raptor

If your lvl 10 and find one of these being oversized and having a red aura then run as fast as your little stamina lets you run cuz you just encountered an alpha and it WILL hunt you down

whoever said they were pounced by an alpha raptor, you meant normal raptor, alpha raptors dont pounce

In aberration and on mobile these bluds can pounce you off your mount.

I would recomend a stego to fend against these guys on aberration and on mobile as they can’t get dismounted

If u are a low level just bola a single raptor. After they are trapped quickly knock them out. Raptors eat meat. They are fast and decently strong. RIP Clyde.

The raptor is an easy tame taking bout 2 traq arrows to knock. I fed it normal meat and it tamed very very fast.

Before I hit ten days in ark I already had several of them and a sarco we are unstoppable

To tame one you simply need

2 bolas in case you miss the first

A slingshot (25 rocks) at most

And 7 meat more or less

Make sure that you throw the bola before the raptor jumps on you and get a male and female and breed about 3 times and that should be enough early on protection

For those of you who have been trying to build a pack, one raptor at a time. Build a 4x4 wooden box. Put one doorway, and make sure there is an extra wall above the door. Put ramps on the opposite side of the door. Find a pack nearby, agro them, and lead them over the ramps and into the box. Exit the door quickly. From then on it's literally like shooting fish in a barrel.

You will need a lot of tranqs, depending on how many are in the pack, and a lot of meat. Don't worry if some of them are low level. The raptor strategy is strength in numbers.

Get enough raptors and you will be unstoppable.
