When I was a noob, and saw a raptor for the first time, I thought: eh another small carnivore, probably as weak as a dilo... So I went to manhandle it with a bow, went well till the pack came, then one pounced and you know the rest. Be careful, they are far more dangerous than their size suggests

Hello everyone! This is what you need to tame a raptor:

First of all, get some bolas and bring more if you miss or theres a pack in case, then bring some narcotics and a club or bow with tranq arrows (or you can use crossbow too).

Secondly, you will need to find a raptor, you can find a raptor pretty much anywhere, i suggest to go to the jungle but be careful of the oter creatures.

Now, you need to trap and knock out the raptor you have found! When it's running towards you, getting ready to attack you, quickly equip your bola and bola the raptor. After that, bring out your club and start hitting the raptor from the back, or if you are using a bow or crossbow, shoot it in the head with tranq arrows.

Now feed it meat or its preferred kibble and wait, the higher the level the more time it will take to tame.

After it's tamed...

Steps to taming a Raptor:

Step 1- Grab A Bola

Step 2-Start Shooting it with Tranquillizer darts or start clubbing it

Step 3-Feed it any type of meat

Step 4 You Got A Pet Raptor

They are good tames but, they can sometimes jumpscare you. 😂

It's me the girl who wrote a story about my black dimo (the little birdie that's the walmart version of ptera) toothless and I'm using my sisters phone to type this for people who need it! if you have tranq arrows/darts have a bed with you and shoot the animal your taming and if it's half at torpor ( prob 70 - 60% ) use a bed and sleep with the animal trapped so when you wake up finish tranq ing the hell out of it and it's hunger will go down fast Note: have a lot of food prepared even if you have the following for it I learnt the hard way : ,) Oh and if your wondering what my user was it's either AzureTestingAcc OR ClawsWolf_ALT Bye!!

How to use raptor)

Breed it with another raptor and make a raptor pack!

Use a pounce ability on smaller things like lystrosaurus and moschops!

And if you want do a raptor call!

Raptors are fast and you can wield stuff when riding!

For those of you who are Ark noobs, to tame a raptor you need to:

1. Throw a bola at it

2. Knock it out (for noobs I recommend using a slingshot)

3. Once it’s been knocked out put raw meat in its inventory

4. Wait until it’s done taming

5. You will have a tamed raptor

If you can bola the utahrapter and it doesn’t count trap it with a net of a trap but leaps I’ll just say

Don’t run try to fight back or reach high ground it’s really strong

The best spot to hit to knock out: head. Reason: two punches later: IS IT KNOCKED OUT ALREADY?

If encountered use bola to stun it does not have much health so you can use pike to kill it

(This is only for ark mobile, I think) By the way, For incubating a raptor egg, when it’s cold, put at-least three one fire place by it. And when it’s hot, put air conditioners around it. If you don’t have any, just dunk it in the water though that might be a hazard but it works. Up so others know!
