I don't like them I do have 2 raptors but when I wanted to tame a frog I accidentally got off my pteradon and I found a female but it almost killed me even tho I was high lvl

Alpha raptors dont pounce, they didnt have a tlc

you can find raptors in dark areas or humid areas of ark, the most common biome you will ever find raptors is the redwoods or outside the redwoods next to a river or swamp, you can use bolas and punch it, but it might escape and pounce you so its strongly recommended to use a taming pen, i like to use a quetzel to put a platform saddle on it, use ramps, window frames and foundations, and wait for a raptor to go inside the pen, and then i fly back to my base and knock out the raptor with a slingshot

Once an alpha raptor spawned on the cliff ledge right next to my base I was terrified because I lost my raptor red to one of those demons I didn’t play for while because of it (at the time I had a trike a sarco and a turtle and a pachy) the thing dropped of the cliff and came for us and I lost the pachy but all my tames survived rip brasher she tried her hardest 😓😓😓😓

if u see a high lvl one and u wanna tame it then look at the first is u wanna kill it look at second

1 first bola it second tranq it in the head third starve it and go get prime meat

2 first bola it second kill it with a bow make sure to shoot it in the head for more damage.

Dont compare a jurrasic park raptor with an ark survival evovled raptor because they are two Different types of raptors, the velociraptor in real life unfortunately were no more than the size of a female miniature poodle, standing at about 3 ft tall at adulthood and only hunted in packs in specific situations, while the real life utahraptor was 6 ft tall and weighed around 1.2 tons or 2,400 pounds and hunted in packs,

the tlc for these raptors came out in February 25 2019, they are now extremely dangerous, before the tlc, raptors were weaklings, they were as weak as a dilophosaur before the tlc, now they can even kill a rex, many people say that the raptors on ark mobile never received a pack boost update, they did, but sadly that pack boost only works on wild raptors and wont work with tamed raptors

Carrying 2 or 3 bolas can save an early players life, as they usually travel in packs and even a player with only a bow and arrow can destroy a pack if they bring enough bolas.

Why can’t tame a alpha Raptor thy just buffed up health Raptor

Be extremely careful when you see an alpha raptor, killed my 10 tamed raptors that were with me 😭😭 then it killed me. R.I.P to my rap group 😭

If your fleeing from these lead them to water that you can swim in because they can’t jump on you

I also was very close to Jungle Lightning, and she had a egg back at base, along with her mate Fang, a Purple-red raptor. He died to the same tribe hours later. Please send a prayer to Jungle Lightning and Fang. 😢😿😭😭 R.I.P My beautiful Raptors. I was driven out of the area.

I was about lvl 5 when I tamed my first raptor all I did was sling-shot it with about 5 rocks to knock it out then fed it easily obtainable raw meat

These guys are easy to tame. you need three bolas,tranqs,and meat you know the rest probably. Also my two raptors egg hatched up to give congrats!

was testing out a taming pen design I made CAN FIT THROUGH DOOR FRAMES IF YOU DONT PUT ROOFS ON THEM OR ANOTHER WALL design was 2x2 2 pillars 2 roofs 2 ramps 1 door frame the rest windows forgot how many windows there were

Great early game tame for protection. Easiest thing is to bola and tranq doesn’t take a ton. My friends and I managed to use two tranq arrows and a bunch of punching to knock out and tame Chance the Raptor. Great for early game hunting and protection annoying to raiders on foot.

This raptor is good but I have one problem, The raptor bite is like repeating very very fast and I would like wildcard to slow it down and make the pin shorter. Up this so others could see, Thank You!
