The live in forests use a bola too tame it use raw meat they can pounce quickly paralyzingly you they are strong and hunt in groups

1- grab a bunch of bolas and trancs

2- find raptor

3- use bola and tranqs

4- tame

If you are being chased by a raptor, get to water and swim down and in the opposite direction. Just don't get caught by piranhas!

keep a close eye on a raptor or else bc they scare the frick out of you and pounce you if you're not aware of one . keep ur bola out just in case you see a raptor running towards you. you must imedietly kill or tame it bc the

bola lasts 30 secs.

i hate that raptors scare me alot when im lvl 12 with low health.

To catch a raptor you just need a bola a club and some traps you should get these early game and if try taming other Dino’s and are in a though spot and going to die this will help

Raptors are annoying enough, especially when they jump on you and attack you. But I got hit by a freaking ALPHA RAPTOR...AND I'M NOT EVEN LEVEL 12.

My stupid monkey brain thought, "Ooh! Wouldn't it be cool and useful to have an alpha raptor?" (I previously lost my first and last raptor to a carno and promptly erased my save.)

THAT STUPID FRICKING DINOSAUR RAN AT ME LIKE ITS TALL WAS ON FIRE, KILLED MY PARADAUR, THEN PROCEEDED TO MURDER ME IN TWO SWIPES AND I LOST ALL MY STUFF

I hate this creatures in early game because it can kill you in a minutes

They are early game but OP if you have a group of them.

When u r running away from these guys early game u r probably gonna die so try to run to the closest herbi and aggro the raptor onto it! This saved me an embarrassing amount of times lol

1st you want to find a raptor and face tanks it’s damage with a maxed giga then during you acendent longneck to shoot it and knock it out then insert kibble into your tame just make sure to keep shooting it so it stays knocked finally enjoy your early game raptor.

OH FRICK a alpha raptor is right next to your base!!! :O

Well killing them are easier said than done, stand on a big rock shoot it with any gun or a crossbow. Then after like 50 shots he dies. Remember, don't fall of the rock or he/she will kill you REALY fast. Don't make the same mistake as me when I tried to kill a alpha raptor

My friend and I just tamed a pachycephalasaurus since we just started and we saw a raptor in the woods nearby he crafted a bola, and went to tame it I realized there was a pack but it was too late they went after him and I got them to focus on me I used admin commands to fly away, but I didn’t have the gear to get rid of them so I went back to my friend. Turns out he never got pachy out of the way so the pack killed him I instantly shut down my console knowing that it wouldn’t save. AVOID RAPTORS UNLESS YOU HAVE BOLAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to tame a raptor be care full becuse they are very fast bola then and knok them out with fist or traque and feed them meat and equepid a sadlle and you are redy to go only one raptor can not deal much damage but tame a whole buch of them like me and shw them off

Raptors can not pounce you unless it’s an aberrant

We all have to agree this was the hardest tame early game

1:get a decent amount narcos and bolas if you miss or a pack 2:hit them once then bola aim for the head 3:then put raw meat prime or mutton is recommended but if dont have prime or mutton raw meat will do put narcotics in to keep it asleep 4:you have raptor.

It is a deadly mount and also help you avoid some threats.Rex and Dilo won't attack you when mounted,it doesn't matter how close you get to them,they won't hurt.

A pack of lvl100+ Raptors can take on many threats easily.

Beware wild raptor will attack you when mounted.

Here is a quick thing to tell how many tranq and stuff u would need for a lvl 1 to a 150

Lvl 1:literally 10 or something slingshots not worth it lol

Lvl 30 if ur on easy mode then it's good can be tamed with 10 or so pieces of meat and 5 tranq i think

80:pretty decent to tame to get a better one needs a good amount of meat and tranq arrows

Lvl 150:ove not tamed one myself yet but if i could guess it requires a stack of meat and 20 or so tranq

Also when ur taking ANYTHING remember to put spikes sprout them raptors and dilos can easily remove all the taking effectiveness
