Here is a easy way to tame a raptor:get a few tranq arrows :grt a crossbow shoot them 1 time in the head and then feed them some meat that’s how I tamed mine

I was almost about to tame a beautiful female tapejara that had different shades of green but that’s when two of these raptors came and finished it off while it was sleeping😔 but then I accidentally dismounted my flyer and one jumped onto me and started biting my face but that’s when my fly(a pteradon) attack the raptor so the raptor died and I knocked out the other one and my flyer killed it when it was knocked out, as I will say, Teamwork makes the dream work😍 tho now I gotta find another lv 19 tapejara that has 9+ levels once tamed 😔

One killed my first ever not dodo Dino penny the parasaur and I got so annoyed coz I was just hunting for ants for chitin and I got jumped on and died so I made a grave 1like = 1 RIP penny

These guys are the reason you should always have a stack of bolas and have them in your hand while you're wandering around. Taming is just that. Bola, shoot a few tranq darts to the head and it will go down easy. Make sure to kill the rest of its pack first as they like to travel in packs

Raptors can climb rocks and it is like an instinct to climb rocks when there is danger

Be a true warrior and knock it out with your fists

I was at level 11 when I tamed my first raptor and I did the usual but used a slingshot and I was able to knock out a level 7 TEK RAPTOR!! I looked it up and tek raptors are rare to find I called her robotics she’s black and red, I’m very proud of my lucky find, hope y’all get a tek raptor to!

When I hear a raptor I just run as fast as I can raptors are really dangerous when you don’t know where they are but if you do know where is the raptor is you can try your luck and try to kill it or run.

Don’t know why everyone’s saying step one make bolas. Was I supposed to..? I just use arrows and almost die but that’s how I got 4-6 of my raptors the rest were bred

A tip for taming raptors tip 1 get meat tip 2 find a rock tip 3 bola it and it is with a slingshot

If you want to escape as a low level, have a bola ready and throw it or upgrade your movement speed until it gets higher than 112%.

If you want to fight it as a low level, use a bola and quickly attack it from the back.

Beware of Alphas, They are much faster than a normal raptor and deal tons of damage, but they can’t pin you onto the ground or give a buff to other raptors in the area.(because that would be too op)

I had a alpha near my base then it agroed on my spike walls then I was shivering I took out my cross bow and was shooting it then it glitches though the world I'm so happy 🤣😂

I was so happy when I tamed my first raptor named Blue. Me and him did everything together until the day I took him on a boating trip. At that time, I was a noob and didn’t know other creatures could attack my tamed on a boat. Long story short, a sarco and baronynx came up and killed him. To any other noobs in the game, I strongly urge you not to bring your tamed on a boat.

If you find a group of raptors with 3 or more raptors just run don't even try. Unless you have tranq arrows or if there are multiple rocks you can climb on

1 Use Bola to stun him

2 Use Tranq arrow to knock him down(2 or 4 tranq Arrow)

3 Use meat to feed the raptor

If you’re being chased by a/some raptors and you need to get them off you, try running over to a more passive Dino and run around it to ditch the raptors with said Dino giving you more time to get away :)
