Have a lv 49 50 or 51 and it can kill a lv 62 100 I almost got killed by l p.s it’s a raptor

I trapped one in a cage and tamed it. Took a little bit of time but it was easy once she was in there. Highly recommend

Build an four stone foundation and stone pillars in each side and a ramp of the other side (wherever you want to place) then lure the raptor in and U go out of the trap and start it knock out tranq or slingshot needed 15 narcotics during the tame and for good reason feed what kibble you want

To tame a raptor will sometimes be easy if there is a spot where they can't reach you or find a way up. You'll need some bolas and tranq arrows and if you dont have tranq arrows just use a wooden club to knock it out and give it the amount of meat the dododex says.

If you want to escape as a low level, have a bola ready and throw it or upgrade your movement speed until it gets higher than 112%.

If you want to fight it as a low level, use a bola and quickly attack it from the back.

Beware of Alphas, They are much faster than a normal raptor and deal tons of damage, but they can’t pin you onto the ground or give a buff to other raptors in the area.(because that would be too op)

Raptors can be extremely useful for defence when there are a lot of raptors in a small space. The raptors jump will immobilise the target continuously and any players or dinos will get shredded within seconds. Get taming!

You can kill these with a hatchet. I was minding my own business when I start getting hit by a lev 7. Hit it with the primitive club till it was knocked out then finished it with a hatchet. I’m level 5 and new to ark.

Pack of high level raptors can easily take down large creatures. Press C on the alpha(highest level) and kill brontos level melee

I have 5 40-60 lvl raptors. In a group they managed to take down 2 broncos in a row with only one raptor getting injured

How to tame.

1. Use bola

2. Shove it full of narcotic arrows.

3. Shove it full of meat.

4. (If necessary), Shove it full of narcotics.

There you go, you got a raptor

I tamed my first one by finding one raptor on its own distracted by hunting prey. I snuck up behind it and used a bola and a bat, then just gave it raw meat.

How to tame a raptor! [ Mobile ]

1. Have all the essential items such as; meat, bolas, and a knock out item. Keep multiple bolas in hand incase a raptor escapes or there is a pack near by.

2. Quickly approach this little demon, and bola the target. Once done, start knocking it out, feel free to use another bola if they escape.

3. feed it some meat, maybe prime meat, but I wouldn't waste it on a raptor. Clear the area for anything that could kill it while its asleep.

4. Boom! You got yourself a raptor, I'd recomment getting atleastly 2-3 though.

Tips and tricks!

Raptors are extrememly fast, perfect for being a great getaway, but watch out for that weight bar. If you are willing to fight a rex, spino, etc, then you should try getting 2-5 depending on the level and which one you are talking about. Raptors are great in packs, try getting the pack leader for bonuses. I hope you have a great day taming !

Don’t bother trying to knock out an alpha, or stun it. It will do nothing.

If you see ONE, it’s not the one that will kill you.

The first time i came across a raptor, it was level 60 and i shot it in the face once. It jumped on me and i swear i was dead, but it ended up going unconscious. Later they got murdered after i was jumped by 5 titanboas and 4 other raptors… i would never be where I’m at now if it wasn’t for them.

If you want to kill this creature or tame tame is gonna be at the last paragraph so anyways let’s start packing…

You’ll need:

-1-8 bolas ( depending if it’s a group or a lot you want to kill

- stone arrows (7-38)

- 3 clubs (incase they break)

- 5 dilos

-3 dodos (for extra backup)

Now let me do you an example…

Find a pack of raptors, bola a few of the raptors, shoot the unbola raptors & 7 should kill them each, club the back of the raptors you used the bola on so they don’t attack you or kill you, once the raptor knocked out use the most painful method you want to use, and that is it for the killing raptors!! 👇 for the taming raptors now!!….

How to tame a raptor!! Now let’s get packing…

You’ll need:

-6 bolas for catching them

-2 clubs or melee damage 30

- 10-40 raw meat or any meat you want but I prefer 5 raw prime meat or cooked prime meat

Now let me show you…

Find a raptor you want or like, get its attention or find it attacking a phiomia or parasaur, bola the raptor and more nearby, hit the raptors back once it gets bola because it won’t be able to pounce on you or kill you, once the raptor is unconscious use your prime meat, raw meat, & cooked prime meat you can pick either, get about 8 narcotics with the pistol you’ll need about 35 narcoberries & 6 raw meat to make narcotics, feed the the meat to the raptor, feed the narcotics just one to each raptor once torpor is low or two once the raptor is about to wake up, protect your raptor from nearby carnivores , wait for your raptor to wake up,

When I hear a raptor I just run as fast as I can raptors are really dangerous when you don’t know where they are but if you do know where is the raptor is you can try your luck and try to kill it or run.

Don’t know why everyone’s saying step one make bolas. Was I supposed to..? I just use arrows and almost die but that’s how I got 4-6 of my raptors the rest were bred
