Just go into the forest trying to explore. Guaranteed random raptor will come and attack you

If you start a new island I would recommend trying to get a raptor early as they are good hunters and only need a bowler and wooden club to tame. I would recommend taming at least 3-4 raptor as they will then have a pack boost in health and damage. If you get a pack early your going to be safe for a while.

If you spell help you will see raptor on search bar lol

How to tame raptor

1 get bolas(8)

2 get tranq arrows(20)

3 get meat(40)

4 find raptor

5 bola raptor

6 knock out raptor

7 put meat in raptor

Now you have a raptor

Raptors are one of the best starter tames to allow you to progress in the game. They are easy to tame using a bola and few tranquil arrows or club, and they are very good scouts, combat creatures, and travel mounts!

Very good early game tame. Good for taken out small dinos and getting around. They also are good as a defense for you while gathering resources early game. Saved me multiple times from random carnavoris

How to tame a raptor:My personal method

Required - 3 bolas(just in case) some regular meat(24 or more) and a slingshot

Taming:

Step1: Find a raptor

Step2:Aggro it from a distance

Step3: Bola it

Step 4: Use your sligshot and hit it in the head

Step5:Give it the meat when it's sleeping or you could wait til it gets hungry enough so it will comsume the meat all at once

And Boom! you have a raptor.Just remember you don't have to up it.Someone could have a better method but this tip is for noobs like me.

Really underrated creature on abberation people will just go straight for Rachel’s instead, but having a few of these guys while running in the blue zone can save your life, and I suggest taming at least three and have them follow you when you leave your base.

They harvest meat and they are good for basic offense and defense. Pack bonus if you have three or more with alpha being highest lvl.

Step 4: when it’s knocked down then put prime meat or raw meat

So i smaked a raptor with the bola in the nik of time and it was a female and brown red the color was red and brown and its gen was female so it was like barry! So i named her barry and seted of! It is easy to find one just never do the raptor hunt accomplishment. And there location want to show up on the map and 2-10 arrows depending on the level and I would recommend a crossbow for levels over 25 gun for levels over 75 Trank darts And a knockout animal for any higher than that
