This is the best mount for a survivor. They can kill stuff really easily cause they have so much damage and health and they are super fast so if you attack a really strong Dino you can run away and they can transport you to a destination really far away, really fast and it doesn't take long to tame! They're great!

Bola them knock them out with slingshot or bow then GIVE THEM MEEEEEEAT

Make an army and go kill everything

Okay so basically you need to find one you bola it and you hit it with your club and then shove meat up its throat however if theirs more of them since their in a pack kill them or tame them i would tame them especially if you want an army.

I enconted to of there’s they took down the diplodocus I was playing with kill all raptors praise diplodocus AND WTF TO A GASBAG

Just so you know one of these devils can kill a diplodocus

Okay story time so i was near biome snowy area with my hmm 35 raptors or 20 i forgot and then this rex (lvl 20)

Comes out of nowwhere and then i start running and put my raptors on attack mode or target these guys the raptors i mean have no mercy and killed that rex like hecka fast these guys are good gathers for these guys are good for getting prime meat

You can kill a raptor, but can you kill an alpha raptor? If you cant, heres how. But i think this might only work on mobile ark.

1- You must have a cage and a strong ranged weapon with its ammo, and you must have a flying creature, best to use is a pteranodon.

2-Now not only do you need to find an alpha raptor, but also an extremely flat ground, like EXTREMELY. And once you find a very flat ground, place the cage there.

3-Once you have placed the cage, keep it open, and use your pteranodon to lead the alpha raptor inside, do this by flying over the cage with your pteranodon, and once the alpha raptor gets inside, quickly close the cage.

4-The alpha raptor may start spinning and dancing, but thats alright, since its trapped now, use your ranged weapon to shoot the alpha raptor.

And when that alpha raptor is dead, congrats! You better enjoy that loot otherwise your walls are gonna fall over.

This doesn’t involve the raptor, but in case you need some ambers, (mobile only), you can get 5 ancient ambers from the photograph of herbivores.

For all beginners do not approach raptors

Put the rex bone helmet on an otter

I recommend bringing like 3 of them for long term swamp exploration because of their super high torpor tolerance (BRING A LOT OF STIMULANT)

People forget you can paint and go and try to breed for perfect colors.

If you are aware of your surroundings and have at least a pike, you can easily kill these things before they pounce on you.

Raptors are only good if you find a 140 and up, still they shouldn’t be used for anything but kibble or against trolls. Best raptors will be found on aberration in the Edge 1, plus plenty of Ovis meat there it will only take about 20 min.

Pump health and melee no point in anything else since it will die fast without any health

Just put everybody to know if you see a red raptor tame it! Red Raptors are super rare!
