I advise not using a scorpion to knock out a raptor because every time I try it I either get clawed of my scorpion or I accidentally kill the raptor😔.

So I have god mode and I have a bronto 12 raptors and 23 dodos and seven megalodons

VERY easy to tame. Just bola it and punch its tail. Done

I kept doing a trick were I bred raptors and I got two very very very beast raptors eventually and I bred them and got a level one raptor with 1750 points in each slot but speed. But it was still really fast.

Be carefull i just spent about 2 hours looking for a rapter i had 50 traq arows and around 30 to 40 narqotics and as im exploring one jumps behind mart and i die the morall of the story is " they can be power full from behind time to stary again yay"

Always carry bolas I had just tamed a taprjara and got off my argy to get meat and two rapper started attacking me I hit one with a bola while it was running at me and then got his buddy and made a James bond type escape back to my base 38th my bird's

They are pretty weak and have very low weight,, but they they tame fast and have high movement speed making them great expendable travel mounts on scorched earth.

From what I see it's a good early game mount and a good roamer later in the game so overall good,tame a pack though

If ya encounter a raptor just tame it with a bola meat and a saddle you need 110 hide

GET BOLAS TO TAME A RAPTOR OR YOU WILL DIE IN 2 SECONDS

So uh, I think once you tamed a raptor, the wild raptors won’t be their friends anymore

Throw a bola at it, and then attack it from behind. Recommended weapons:

Sword

Pike

Metal Hatchet

and Bow

I recommend taming one of these because they are one of the best early game tames. Here’s a tutorial.

First, I will show what you need.

Tranq arrows x8 (it only takes one head shot but bring a few in case you misfire or there’s a pack)

Bola x6 (in case you miss or if there’s a pack)

Raw Meat x15

And that is all you need.

Now actually taming one.

The way I usually tame them is by starting the Hunt: Raptor pursuit because the location of the nearest raptor shows on the Map when you start the pursuit.

So now the encounter. Encounter with caution. When it charges at you, ready your bola and….. THROW! If there are multiple be ready to throw another one.

Now shoot a tranq arrow at the raptor’s head and wait 4 seconds. Then it will pass out.

Now, put meat in it’s inventory, wait for it to tame, and BOOM! You have a raptor.

(Side note. If you want to get a saddle for it you need fiber, wood, and hide. Fiber is collected from bushes, wood is collected from trees, surprise right? And you can use your new raptor to kill some trikes, dilos, turtles, moschops, dodos, or any other animal that is easy to kill. Then when you kill enough get the hide from the raptors inventory and then make the saddle.)

(Shorter side note, The raptor has a fast attack. On mobile, if you jump and then swipe down on top of a Dino, you will jump on top of it and the Dino won’t be able to move. You can still attack it. This even works on other raptors!)

This is pretty easy to tame I just watched a few videos and tamed one

One day I was thinking if I should get a pet raptor so I found one and knock it out gave it meat and a few days later I name it racy

These creatures can be real jerks early game, but they are relatively easy to tame and can be a game changer. They are fast mounts for getting around, and have a strong attack. Things to look out for are health and weight. Their pin attack is great when killing smaller creatures and humans. On easy mode, my 95% imprinted lvl 50 raptor, Stormclaw, absolutely SLAYS everything and anything. I pump mostly weight, health, and movement speed. They aren’t the strongest, but they are great early-to-mid game tames.

Use a good bow use dilo

prusuit and try to get some distance from the raptor

Use a bola then knock it out with club give it meat
