Alphas always spawn near my spawn and I get rid of them by finding them eating an animal they killded and then shooting them in the head from far away and they don't agro u if ur far enough.

raptor usaully spawn in forests and you can bola them they have low torpor. if they are in a pack you can kill with a bow far away they are pretty weak. if you have one you can use it for taming running and sometimes hunting small dinos such like dilo or even a carbo

Well, I spawned down on a beach then, I saw a thing called microraptor and ran away to see it was harmless 23 min later, so I saw another raptor (original) and called the place I saw it home base next thing I knew was that I was being attacked, noticing it was bigger than microraptor...

If you’re gonna tame this guy make sure he’s not in a dangerous place. so to knock out maybe make 3 bolas since you might miss some of your shots to hit the raptor. Make sure you have a club or a bow with tranq darts so now if you got one of those find a raptor in a safe area to tame then you can tame a raptor in 2 ways try to hit it with a tranq arrow or throw a bola at it then hit it with a club (if you can tank the damage from the raptor) or shoot it with your tranq arrows then feed it meat
