I was going to rain one so I did a little reasearch and all I learned was they don’t land so I was going to get my sister to help me get one I would grapple to the bottom of an argie while she flew it well on the way back to my base I found a tel quetzal I didn’t know how rare they were and I killed it because she want there to help me I am so sad because I just spent the last two hours looking for one with her.

Came here to read your horror stories but instead read a whole as story that could’ve been summarized in a couple sentences. Weird.

I once almost starved and had to kill my saddleless quetz to survive it sucked I died from a giga while i was eating it.

Ummm... this morning tamed lvl153 and stupid me sets it to follow and target then I acidently hit a titanosaur.

Last thing I’m going to say, but you encouraged people to complain about us, which is pretty immature, and better way to solve this is to move on and ignore us, or if you really have to say something, you could do it in a non-hateful way. I don’t care how much you don’t like us or think we’re all cringe, just take a second and see what your encouraging, and ask yourself if your handling it in a mature way.

So I had always wanted a quetzal. Who wouldn't want a flying fortress/battleship?! I took people's advice and went searching around the red obelisk. And since I was on solo, I was using the argie and scorpion technique (which is where you put a scorpion on aggressive and fly him up to the quatzal which will knock it out). After about 20 minutes of searching, I found a level 7 male, which was a pretty blue and lime color. After Scorpio knocked it, it landed right next to a high level rex, which had a curled up doedicuras that it was having trouble killing. It took the quetz as free real estate, and chomped him up for dinner. A few days later, I find a new quetzal that was a level 25 albino female. I knocked it right over the swamps, where it immediately got devoured by three sarcos! I have been traumatized ever since.

If you think about it, quetzals are actually pretty terrifying. Imagine you’re a dilo, and you’ve never seen a quetzal before. Then, this GIANT FLYING CREATURE DESCENDS ON YOU! I’d be terrified

When im taming a quetzal i just doing tidy save to spawn it and i see a lv 100 and i say im gonna knock it out and when im in the sky i hit dismount and i lost the quetzal f*** dismount button

Just a small story for the all the bored ones. (Sorry for any misspelling)

So at the moment I had about 3 tapejara's and I was taking the child of the two. Tarp, so I was flying him and I saw a tek quetzal and a normal one trapped inside each other so I flew down to my extremely convenient base spot below them and got about 70-96+ tranquilizer darts and my ascendant long neck rifle then flew back up to the stuck quetzals, shot them a couple times and got down the tek one though I had to bribe my friend to get online and watch it. But while I was doing that the normal one ran into the mountain nearby (:note this is on the island:) so I shot that one but, the giga that was on the OTHER SIDE of the mountain ate him so I just shot the giga since I needed another one cause my last one was set to passive and got eaten by a dilo without me knowing. Bet the dilo had the best meal of his very very short life. Anyway I got the giga tranqed and I went to put the kibble in it but then another quetzal came so I quickly put the kibble inside the taming giga and chased the quetzal and I was starting to get tired of this since I already had two really good dinos taming. But I still chased it and turns out it was another person's quetz I was shooting so I had to apologize since we had an alliance with there tribe and offer them our tek quetzal to avoid going into war. I still regret giving them the quetzal because they started the war anyway and we won.

Was on my lvl 367 quetzal in a pvp official server I ran into turrets I forgot to lvl health on the dang thing so it died within 10 shots with the turrets there goes my asc loot and my quests :( R.I.P zoey all I have left is my lvl 30 male quetz if this happens all you can do is cry 😫
