Purlovias were rideable before launch and they were quite fun to ride. I used to have some on Ragnarok.

Argh, it's strange. Purlovia and sabertooth has simular height and long, but you car ride on sabertooth and it can be catched by argentavis. Purlovia isn't rideable and argy can't catch it. WHY!?

For all the people wandering why you can’t ride it is cause of its low drag weight and ability to burrow. If u could stun people off there mount n kill them with this would be to op pls see this if your wandering y

Why can’t u ride it is perfect size

My tribe put our cryopoded wyverns and reapers in these, buried it, and set it to passive. When we got raided, we uncryopoded our creatures and built back up and got revenge.

The purlovia actually is very useful with taming creatures... at least on mobile, creatures will aggro on it while it’s underground, yet it will take no damage, serving as a “bait” for most aggressive creatures, set the purlovia on passive so you don’t attack the things you wish to tame. Simply build a big taming pen in the arctic, put the purlovia in the pen, make it dig, wait for the rexes, sabers, wolves, and even possible gigas to aggro on the badger dog, open the gates, close them, tranq out the creatures while they are distracted, and enjoy your new OP tames!!!

But I agree they should be Rideable.

I buried it before raid it is a beast it leaped out stunned the opposite clans gigantic how? And then killed it and the person full flak armour ( giga lvl 280 )

I love Purlovia even if I play single player mode and here is why:

I like to role play as an always ready to anything nomad hunter. Even if I have a fixed base, I like to be able to spend as much time as I want out in the wild without the need to go back home. To achieve this I carry with me many cryopods of all special saddle tames (like castoride, equus, hyaenodon, magmasaur), travel mounts for air, land and water, combat mounts, shoulder pets and special ability mounts for hunting. I also have many tools and different armor sets with me thanks to the help of Seven, my little sinomacrops/backpack. When I need to repair or craft gear I usually rest and work with my tames on my megachelon's shell in the middle of the ocean or on the top of a mountain on my quetzal.

To be ready for anything means sometimes I cannot risk to loose everything (like when I go to the pit of Dreen (Ragnarok) for alpha tuso hunting). Here is when my purlovia comes in handy, as I give everything I don't need to him and leave him burrowed in a safe spot knowing my gear is well defended!

I have 2 if near relitivly close to my base but not close enough that raiders will find them. Iv put important equipment in them to get me back on my feet if I get wiped

Great for hiding loot I use this for all my good loot on PvP as an admin and player I 10/10 recommend

When it's in hibernation it's food doesn't decrease but a must have for base protection

Say you live in the redwoods, You have a platform But , Most of your dinos are on the ground. Taming A Few of these setting them on Aggressive While buried around your base will help fight off carnos, Rexes , Allos. Or at Least as A Diversion so you can get ready to help.

These things need to be rideable. It would be by far the most OP pvp tame in all of ark

I reckon it should have a saddle, or, even better, rideable without one, just like a dire wolf.

In PvP put like 10 in your base

Everybody is complaining about it not being able to ride the darn thing…maybe it’s not supposed to operate as a sports car because it is an underground vault to store all your goodies if bad times come along with it’s built in Ai defensive unit that will destroy anyone who comes near it 😄 yeah it’s a here to protect your things and your base, not to be ridden around like a horse…😁
