Use a taming pen to trap the Purlovia, preferably after it has emerged and finished fighting, and wear ghillie armor while placing the enclosure. Avoid approaching buried Purlovia directly, as they can ambush, stun, and knock you from your mount; once safely contained, knock it out carefully and feed it normally.
