You can store valuable items in them and tell them to dig underground when getting raided

Be careful of these guys in the snow biome, these mixed with dire wolfs can kill anything, for example my poor argy. RIP Valk, I'll miss you.

When in redwood forest, keep shotgun handy for if one pops up while your out gathering. Suggest that if you plan to make base in redwood, make sure it’s a tree platform base set as high as possible, or the badgers’ll get ya.

Why can’t u ride it is perfect size

My tribe put our cryopoded wyverns and reapers in these, buried it, and set it to passive. When we got raided, we uncryopoded our creatures and built back up and got revenge.

Purlovias were rideable before launch and they were quite fun to ride. I used to have some on Ragnarok.

Wiki says these can’t knock you off of a rock drake, they are dead wrong

The purlovia actually is very useful with taming creatures... at least on mobile, creatures will aggro on it while it’s underground, yet it will take no damage, serving as a “bait” for most aggressive creatures, set the purlovia on passive so you don’t attack the things you wish to tame. Simply build a big taming pen in the arctic, put the purlovia in the pen, make it dig, wait for the rexes, sabers, wolves, and even possible gigas to aggro on the badger dog, open the gates, close them, tranq out the creatures while they are distracted, and enjoy your new OP tames!!!

Confirmed data:

- This little annoyance can stun you off your mount AND your mount itself, the stun takes about 5 seconds for you, while for the mount about 8 seconds.

- They spawn in the snow areas of extinction, be careful.

- They team with a pack of sabertooths, usually ambushing you and letting the sabertooths maul you.

I was flying low to the ground looking for a doedicurus and then suddenly, this 3 of these guys came out of no where and and killed me and my pteradon

PRO TIP! When hunting for one of these make sure the creature u are riding on has its follow distance set to low so when u get knocked off you can get straight back on asap. If you do not have this setting enabled you will get knocked off and if your using a bird you will NOT be able to reach your bird when getting attacked usually leading to death.

For all the people wandering why you can’t ride it is cause of its low drag weight and ability to burrow. If u could stun people off there mount n kill them with this would be to op pls see this if your wandering y

Not recommended to go to the redwoods. You fly high, and thylas knock you off. Fly low, and these guys say hi.

If you want WildCard to see it email them or something because getting people to up your opinions is just moving the good tips down.

But I agree they should be Rideable.

I love Purlovia even if I play single player mode and here is why:

I like to role play as an always ready to anything nomad hunter. Even if I have a fixed base, I like to be able to spend as much time as I want out in the wild without the need to go back home. To achieve this I carry with me many cryopods of all special saddle tames (like castoride, equus, hyaenodon, magmasaur), travel mounts for air, land and water, combat mounts, shoulder pets and special ability mounts for hunting. I also have many tools and different armor sets with me thanks to the help of Seven, my little sinomacrops/backpack. When I need to repair or craft gear I usually rest and work with my tames on my megachelon's shell in the middle of the ocean or on the top of a mountain on my quetzal.

To be ready for anything means sometimes I cannot risk to loose everything (like when I go to the pit of Dreen (Ragnarok) for alpha tuso hunting). Here is when my purlovia comes in handy, as I give everything I don't need to him and leave him burrowed in a safe spot knowing my gear is well defended!
