Purlovias are dangerous ambush predators that hide underground, then emerge to stun survivors and dismount riders, so approach suspicious mounds cautiously and use ranged attacks or detection abilities when possible. To tame one, wait until it has surfaced and finished fighting, then safely trap it in a pen, preferably while wearing ghillie armor, before knocking it out and feeding it normally. Once tamed, it can burrow to protect bases, crops, or vulnerable locations, ambush intruders, and conceal valuable supplies while underground.
