Took way less time and rotten meat to tame than the app said

Fairly easy to farm chitin from. Get a raptor/saber tooth and lightly encumber them. Agro the scorpions and walk backwards, make sure you’re slower than the scorpion. You’ll have less speed but better knock back so they will barely ever be able to land a hit on you

This creature is either your best friend or your worst enemy. I recommend hammering speed, damage, and health. If tamed, it is a great early swimmer and good at helping tame other creatures. It doesn't make much noise so it can easily sneak up on you. Run away and shoot with tranq arrows. If you get stuck in it due to jumping or lag. Well. You can kiss you're butt good bye.

Scorched taming- boomerang since they are slow just hit them and walk backwards :D

Shoot it with a bow or crossbow or whatever from a distance. They will sting you, and knock you unconscious. Very dangerous. I learnt that the hard way :P

What I did was I used a longneck rifle with darts after killing mate stay like on a hill and shoot it to me one dart but any other type tranq works but I suggest

Longneck rifle with a few darts! Also they swim under water so WIN WIN!!

things u need to knock it out:

1.bows,crossbow,etc.

2.tranq arrows,tranquilazer dart,etc.

3.bolas

item u need to feed and tame it.

1.spoiled meat or meat

Remember:

u can tame one just by walking backward while shooting it with tranq arrows (if u dont want to use bolas and ur not a timid:P)

If ur on mobile in singleplayer you cant breed them period

My set up:

Crossbow with arrow incase things go south.

Long rifle with tran dart

Bola

Metal spike

Sword

Speed 160%

Stamina 180%

Malee 500%

Tame 4 back to back, after dealing with other sort of argos.

10 minute of fight til Carnos and dire wolf's show up to join the battle ended up being last man standing!. After the whole battle I got 4 scorpion, 3 Carlos 2 packs of dire wolfs, 2 Saber on top of all that yo sweeting the deal artis!!!!

When came to taming everything was already to go with meats from mattles (mad man battle, sniffing wild flowers while at it)

Individuals are relatively easy to fight, if you’re fast enough. Run up to it, slash at it a couple times, then jump back when it gets ready to strike so it misses. Repeat until scorpion is dead.

Great early tame will save you lots of tranq arrows

These things should have an special attack where they grab onto specific dinosaurs with their claws and whip their tail rapidly for several seconds

These guy's are pretty easy to outrun, but they are relentless! You'll have to get about 20-30 foundations' length away to lose aggro. Also don't let it sting you even once, you'll be down in seconds! They don't have a lot of health (one shot from a cross and they die are become extremely wounded) and most mounts can take care of them without a struggle. Stay safe Survivors!

Tame one of these in mobile and you are literally untouchable.

Bola the legs and start shooting it with arrows feed it gone off meat and bam you have one they might be nockot tames

Tame up one of these guys ( has to be tamed from a cave ) saddle them up and ride them into caves, nothing aggros while ur riding them means easy passive tames no ghillie or bug repellent required. ;)

If you have pike they cant reach you with stinger, and usually cant with claws, i think its the same with spear

The perfect beginner tame (if you see it before it sees you)

To tame them bola them tranq them out then feed them spoiled meat

When you get stung you can quickly eat some stimberrys to escape
