They are very good at climbing up rocks and other steep areas as long as therea a good slope to start at and its not perfectly straight. You can use this for hit and run when doing tames, or a good escape if needed. Their speed isn't too great but their stamina is pretty good. And they aren't the best at actually killing, but their torpor attacks make up for that.

Only tame low levels because these have awful stats no matter the level and should only be used for kibble (kibble for rexes)

This is great for an early on tame. They don't require much meat (spoiled meat) and not a large amount of narco berries or narcotics. They are also useful to tame other creature due to there sting. For later on, these are almost essential for a good rex, the eggs are used to tame them and mean the difference between lvl 190 and level 130.

Nothing beats the good ol bola and snaky stick way of taming

Kibble is more effective than Rotten Meat; You will notice that the taming effectiveness does not drop when using Kibble, but rotten meat is faster. Use kibble later on for better levels and stats from taming! -Rawnsheid

Torpor bar drains quickly, despite of what DDDX says... You're gonna need around 150 bio toxins to tame a 240 one. And taming effectiveness will never be high, since they simply don't eat any kibble...

Not sure if the not-aggroing carnivores is true. I was riding with my 3 scorpions and a wild one came up to the one I was riding and just stood there for 20 seconds, then stung me and we had to fight it out.

Guys you won’t be seen by caver dinos and bugs you need to RIDE it the saddle is easy and they are easy to tame you should find some in the first cave.

Anyone else think that the Scorp should have a secondary attack where it’d grab you with its claws? It’d making tranqing with the arachnid much more convenient.
