There is no "invisible" or "no agro" effect. I tamed 3 in a cave, put a saddle on one and rhe creatures in and out the cave aggro'd me.

Ignor anyone who says you can just walk in a cave with one. It's complete bollocks and they're saying it to get you killed.

Two or three tranq arrows , feed meat, at least 6 narco mix will do the trick

One of the best uses for scorpions is for kibble farming. On mobile and switch, they are perfect for Rex taming. Tame scorpions with the opposite sex and you will perfect-tame rexes using the kibble.

Bring a pike and back up slowly while hitting it. If there are more then 2 get a better pike lol

Up melee and speed for a good weaponized arachnid. Upping melee also adds more torpor damage.

They are a little Tanky and they have half descent manueverability as they face the way you face which is unique so they're a useful tame and they can be useful for knocking out some creatures but they are slow so be careful!

You can stop small prey from getting away if you ride the scorpion and position it between its claws

When u tame one take advantage of the glitch where the dino u are attacking will get trapped in your claws they is an easy way to kill small dinos

I made a taming pen then put a bunch of these in it then make them help knock out a tough target if they die there easy to tame no need of narcotics

Scorpians have relatively low torpor values and speed on land. A survivor with basic movement and stam increases will have no problem kiteing and knocking out with a basic bow.

Use spoiled meat of course and single stack meat in your inv to spoil it faster.

A max lvl scorp with spoiled meet takes just over an hour to tame.

Notes on uses:

Scorpian torpor is great but it will take timing and practice to knock put dinoa with out killing them.

Scorpian swim speed and oxygen make them decent water mounts in a pinch. Just remember to have them on follow if diving for oil or when yoi dismount they will go straight tonthe surface.

If you run out of tranq arrows you can strafe around in circles punching

Taming a lvl 135 would give it over 200% damage and speed. They will be very fast and strong. Not to mention they will have about 1800 hp.

If u already have one of these. Use it to knock another one out. Attack and then wait 7 to 10 seconds and repeat until knocked out.once it starts running from you give it 1 to 5 attacks and it will go down easy. I have an army! Over 50 guarding what's mine haha

If u see one coming best bet is to run. If it hits u a couple of time and ur not wearing chitin/ flak ur gonna end up sleeping while it stings u in the face

They easy to tame I tamed lv 300 easy knock out and easy feed rotten

Meat and they useful to making there kibble for Carlos on mobile

Prime meat spoils pretty quick, you can use prime meat to get the spoiled meat

Spoiled meat will tame this twice as fast as normal meat, a must-use item when taming. Go get some prime, spoils faster

If you are in a cave and you want to tame a scorpion there, I’d recommend to kill the creatures around it (if any) and slingshot the scorpion from it’s low movement speed.

These are GREAT for chitin! Just ride an Argentavis and grab them with the talons! Then find a safe place, go close to the ground, and attack it mid air. Then go to the ground, and harvest with metal hatchet. No damage taken, a lot of chitin gathered! I have found them most commonly right on the southern border a tundra winter zone of in a jungle.
