When knocking out/taming a pteranodon(for ARK Mobile),!always have a bola in hand then if your level 6-20 use a slingshot 22-61 use tranquilizer arrows 62-95 toxicant arrows or tranquilizer darts 96+ shocking tranquilizer darts (it also depends on what level it is) then starve tame it, I recomend you use dodo kibble

When taming you can force feed narcoberries and it will tame it and continue to keep it unconscious

One tranq arrow with knock out low level pteranodons but it might take a few seconds for it to kick in so unless it’s a high level pteranodon don’t shoot another tranq arrow at it

My only bird is high in the Sky cuz a pack of dimorphs agrod on Us. I need help. How do i get it back. Its out of wistle range and i made a stone tower to get it but that was too short. Im Bellow level 50 and under 20. Plz help

Bola and the either attack with a bat or tank arrows ( If using tank arrows be careful of the health of the pteradon ).

Always allow your pt to land apply boala this will prevent stamina loss them shoot a tranq count to 6 this allows each tranq to take effect before shooting it with another also preventing excess damage to intended tame once unconscious surround the bird with wooden spikes to prevent anything attacking your tame and always stay with your tame if predictors are around you must put down a sleeping bag inside spikes and kill predictors your tame is always your number one priority

Don’t forget to land befor you logout or it will be stuck in the sky and you will have to build a tower to get it (just experanced);)

1. Be high enough level to make the saddle

3. Tranq arrows an crossbow or normal bow

4.have meat

5. Knock it out

6.give it meat

7.have narco berries

8. Tamed

Hey guys i want to tame one o’ these guys i got the cooking pot but idk how to make le dodo kibble cuz some say it’s easier with it and i tried with prime meat but it slow as heck pls tell me how to get dodo kibble

Ok these are sooooo hard to tame if you don’t have fish. You need like 50 fish/meat and jellyfish toxin (you can use the mix between the black berries and rot meat but trust me it doesn’t work that well for these guys.) then get a bola and a club and nock him out then feed him food and wait like a hour lol. It’s worth it I think cus I just got mine (I’ve half tamed them before) and he is soo cool

On Ark mobile to tame this guy all I did was give him PLENTY of narcotics and meat and stay around to kill off other predators.

You can use a tent to trap and protect it if it’s on the ground

I suggest using a bola to make sure it doesn’t fly away then knock it out with your hands or a bat once it’s knocked out feed it some prime mega or dodo kibble

The best way to tame it for me as a befginer is literally,

Wait till you can level up to craft a bola or this won’t work

First bola it

Second have 100 blue berrys feed it and 100 nacroberriers

Third keep 20 raw meat in if, it won’t eat berries unless it has meet in its inventory, but there blue berrys are more effective, and the nacrobaerries keep it alseep!

Some gie clames that there torper goes down fast umm NO they take what 1 tranq arrow so they got like 100 torper it goes down slow but it gots like no torper

It helped me to find out how to tame it and it told me what to use to tame it

Idk if a glitch but I only had cooked prime meat so gave it that and force fed it a couple. The meter didn't move so I gave up and left it there unconscious. Minutes later it flew back to me tamed :)
