Go to beach zone 3 on Val bring 5 tranq arrows with bow or crossbow go to big side of the beach pt’s are everywhere and sheep’s spawn there so nock pt wait 15mins then kill sheep get mutton when pt tamed kill moths then make saddle then have fun😁. WARNING ALOWS AND RAPTERS AND REXS SPAWN THERE BE CARFUL

If you are starting out as a Bob at Highlands just bola slingshot get a sheep feed and kill scorpions for a saddle I go for 130+

Get a bow and some arrow shoot 1 and punch to knock out.keep shooting to kill.

Try to find high level male and females. Breed them and get at least another male and female. By doing this, their base stats will be pretty high.

A good way and easy is to put meat and make sure you have narcotics and you can force feed it to have them unconscious for a longer period of time

Dude holy crap I just tamed a Ptera and it would only take narcoberries xD. I tried kibble prime and normal and prime fish and normal fish and I tried leech blood and still only narcoberries xD. It was a one berry tame.

Don't poop on the pteranodon.. He/she Don't like it..

If you’re on exctitoion and u have a poison pteranodon then u can knock other creatures out. Try it!

Take some bio toxen/narcotics

and a bola wooden spikes and tranq arrows. bola it and pump tranq arrows in it's face then place wooden spikes around it so it doesn't die. Give it dodo kibble and bio toxen wait for it to tame up then u have a pteradon

They are found everywhere. Find one level 4 or under, make dodo kibble, and it will be long, but it will be tamed. You don't even need narcos. Make your saddle, and equip. Great trusty starter, flies faster than sabers and alpha raptors if you sprint. Buff up that stamina, thought.

These take longer to tame than dodex says and they have very low health just tame them with kibble if you even want one

Was exploring on my pteradon Flappy Bird today and ran into two Allosaurus, one an Alpha. Needed to land for stamina, Flappy Bird took so many hits and no damage. We stayed until we could take of and rested up on a ledge. Had more run-ins that day including another Alpha Allo, raptors and a T-Rex and Microraptors and made it home in one peice!

Much less useful since the flyer nerf, most uses no longer apply. If you want a more rounded bird get an Argentavis.

To tame a ptera just be patient on the level you want and when it lands bola it and 2 Tranq arrows to the head will do any level

I would recomend to knock it out and then put some meat and narco berries and try to find a stego so you can get some primes

The bird is kind of okay after its nerfs. Would not recommend for much besides as a starter flyer to get in and out of fights quickly.
