Babies get more imprint if they are on a female procoptodon pouch, try it.

These are amazing early game mounts that will always remain useful. Level up carry weight and you can use it not only for metal runs but chop trees while on it's back. It's also amazing for combat as it's knock back is decent but more importantly it allows for a great ranged weapon mount with it's turn radius, speed and jump to avoid close encounters. For the rare flowers if on scorched Earth then tame a Morello and gather the purple plants with it. On any other map raid beaver dams!

WARNING THIS THIS CANT GATHER BERRIES IN MOBILE

These guys don’t take fall damage (at least on mobile they don’t. I’ve never played PC/Console so I can’t confirm on those) when you’re riding that. Combine that with it’s high knock back, and it’s pretty great for mountain climbing! Kick enemies away from you and you can just jump down when you’re ready without having to worry about your roo dying!

If you are like me and on Xbox you need to hold a to do the big jump cause I was like this thing does not jump very far

besides of dinosaurs it can lift players, you can even use this to unclog players from awkward places

These guys are op, even on mobile. You can use it’s kick attack to Kick basically anything into the stratosphere (It only slightly knocks back a giga, bronto etc). Also it’s fast (and can carry 2 ppl on mobile).

When ASA comes out this guy will likely be able to snatch wild dinos, the Procoptodon will be on everyone’s tame list.

These guys are really fun! I always keep one or two around for when I need to get around real quick.

These little Roos, can be a good early mount game (the saddle for these is level 23 though) pump Health, maybe some stamina, weight and movement speed. When you do you can have.

1. You can have good health if you are not comfortable with the health already.

2. (Idk if they use up stamina while jumping) But you can have enough stamina to get away from bad situations!

3. You can harvest, you might be a little encumbered but pump up weight.

4. You could probably out run most creatures (raptors, direwolves)

5. It’s a good mount to have!

It’s really good to have one bc it can hop out of a disaster

(Almost died being attacked by raptors)

Pump melee and weight it rivals the best berry gatherers in the game, you can get around with ease making a berry run much quicker than with the bigger dinos with comparable yields

Also quite good at harvesting berries; I'd pick one of these over a Morellatops any day.

Not the most difficult tame but jumps around a lot, I can tell you right now that this is well worth it, collects over 1000 of each berry in three collect hops, small tribes, competes well with a bronto. Hidden gem it is

You can carry Jerboas in their pouch

Occasionally raising babies in the pouch can bug and the babies will disappear from the pouch before hitting juvenille stage. I have been able to find them again if this happens at 50 50 on the map.

I’m kinda confused because passive taming is bugging out on the genesis part 2 server, is anyone else having this problem?

Warning to mobile players: you can not at the moment carry shoulder pets or baby dinos in the procoptodon’s pouch.

There good for incubating eggs keep ING baby dinos safe and they take reduced fall damage and when they kick any creature in its vacinity will get knocked back pretty far and two players can ride it so its a pretty good tame.

You can raise the babies with rare mushrooms. Easy to get a lot of them from the megachelon.
