YOU CAN PICK THIS UP WITH AN ARGY ON MOBILE! Just found one by the volcano and I carried it all the way to herbivore island.

Tame: Just wait until it stops and then place 4 or 5 wooden panels around it (start at the front at the nose otherwise it will jump away)

Use large bear traps spaced out in a straight line & at least a journeyman crossbow to make up for the short time it’ll hold him. Like so there can see.

How to tame Procoptodon

Step 1Find a procotodon

Step 2 While taming using a frog

Step 3 Kill all dinos

They also spawn near the lake like place between ice and mountain and jungle

Very common in genesis and scorched earth

Just make 1 or 2 large bear traps place it before the procoptodon and surround it with wooden billboards and then knock it out.

I suggest if your on Xbox if you hold jump you can charge jump and go either far or REALLY HIGH you will need this if you see a dangerous Dino and need to run hopefully this was helpful👍

When you want to tame one you can actually use a argy to pick up to your base i have tried in mobile

So in mobile this guy can be carried by the argy.If not they they can be bola.then tranc it 1 Tranc to the head the rest to the body (just incase u don’t killed it).They can be found in the red woods or snow area

i picked this bad boy up with my argy (mobile) and dropped him inside a box big enough for me and him. then i shot him with tranq arrows until he collapses like a sack of potatoes. then i fed him rare mushrooms and species x seeds. took about maybe 10 minutes? to tame him, so now i have a roo named peterson :)

If your looking for a tip to tame a kangaroo read this-

Things you will need to make a trap: (4 by 4 dimension) 8 stone foundations, 48 stone doorframes (or walls but i used doorframes), or instead of 48 doorframes/walls you can do 32 (I did 48 just to be safe so the creature can’t get out), rare flowers (you get them from the black stringy bushes in swamp biome, or from beaver dams), 2 wooden ramps

MAKE SURE YOU MAKE IT 1 WALL HIGH BEFORE YOU GET THE CREATURE IN! 1 wall high because you only have 2 ramps so the kangaroo doesn’t over-run the gap accidentally. When you finish building the first part, go near the kangaroo and make sure there aren’t any other creatures nearby and you are on a flying dino! Then when the coast is clear go near the kangaroo and eat the rare flower. You may have to eat more but eat 1 at a time! Make sure the creature is following you and make it stay right behind you, fly to the ramps on the trap and fly over it and the kangaroo should be right behind you and it should fall into the trap. Then knock it out and feed it wild mushrooms (you can get them from harvesting crystals, crystals are mostly found in the snow biome). Boom you have a kangaroo! ALSO RARE FLOWERS MAKE ALL WILD DINOS NEAR YOU ANGRY, PASSIVE (dinos that don’t attack you) OR NOT THEY WILL GO AFTER YOU ALSO AND START ATTACKING YOU

For ark players that are iron mobile I recommend that you make a 1×2 thatcth thingy with door frames and then pick it up and drop it in seal of the tip with roofs and knock it out this way easier than trying to use billboards

Guys, the rare flower trick doesn’t work on mobile. Really mad about that

Easiest way I've found by far to date for taming these is get yourself a mantis, lvl doesn't matter, an ascendant or MasterCraft club, lvl stam Abit and melee a bit just as extra measure, then find your desireed roo, let stam build up then play wack-a-roo. With ascendant club can knock with 2-3 hits. Enjoy your hunting mate:3
