Is it just me, but should they addd a savana-y map. Ik they have scorched but it’s more DRY desert than savanna. They should have another desert map like how they have the island and lost island but this would be scorched earth the dry more Death Valley-type place and the new one will be more like lion king setting. With tall grass plains and the odd tree, watering holes with spinos and equises? Equi? You get it. I feel like with all the new maps they are making this would be a good one! Also look on the fenrir page and if u see the post on it would be cool if the added the Roc 🦅 this would be a good map for it. To recap:

The rock is basically a GIANT eagle. Much like the Argi but MUCH MUCH bigger and more eaglish. They would be birds of pray and would come in grays and browns. To tame prob be knoc and food would be any meat. They could be ridden and might have a swoop attack. Maybe in wild they would swoop you and stego-size creatures when hunting and lift them up high wile doing damage then drop when high enough.

On scorched earth in the eastern oasis you can find purple bushes, if you harvest these with a (for an example) morelatops there is a really high chance of gettin rate mushrooms.

Cant pick em even with a quetzal

When you knock out a procoptodon Feed it rare mushrooms they actually eat it when you want to tame them.

I found one or two on the north west side of the map on the beach area, just before you get to the floating ice.

You can tame one early on by eating a rare flower and leading it to a trap (make sure there's nothing near you can that kill you or your procoptodon) and then picking plant species x seeds from bushes

If you walk over the Procoptodon while it’s hopping it appears stuck in your Wyvern from the front. Then head to the front of your Wyv and start shooting it, it will end up stuck in your Wyvern since it’s trying to run from you. Then you should be able to knock it out. I was able to tame 4 at once.

For those that play on PVE (cant pick up wild dinos) and can not place any trap for it's pillars all over the map. Use thyla to ride a use Ru darts made from bio toxin and ru after the kangaroo and shoot it. They loose agro pretty fast but torpor is still there. Have done it many times and successfully tamed all kangaroos i wanted ☺

Since update, easiest way to tame is to eat a rare flower and trap it. Make sure you kill other Dino's or it won't end well

Me on mobile sees this kangaroo running I’m like I’m going to kill it i get back to base and tell my tribe mate what I did and he was like dude they are super rare then I facepalmed so hard I got knocked out

Be careful because the max torpor is lower than on dododex. Lvl 20 is actually 578. I don't know about the rest of them

Some rare mushrooms and a couple narco arrows does the trick. I got lucky and got mine stuck in some rocks

Use a Net gun makes taming easy

If you don't wanna trap it and have some powerful, fleet footed mounts already, then you can just wait till they lose aggro over and over.

They lose aggro really fast, if you have a quick mount, you can shoot it, let it run off til it stops running (loses aggro), then shoot it again til its KO'd, just make sure you bring a powerful mount for defense. I used a Poison Wyvern, but a high level PT or even Argy might work.

4 WOODEN BILL BOARDS, 1 large bear trap, bring at least 1 rare flower, though I recommend 2-3 because they don’t last long. Place 3 billboards, bear trap somewhere in there where you won’t run into it. Eat flower, run under billboard trap, when kangaroo hits bear trap place the last bill board in the last opening, then you have it boxed in and stuck. Feed rare mushrooms to tame. Ez

Not So Fun Fact: after tame EVERYTHING will attack. I have a max level male and I just tamed anothet max to breed right? I let the newly tamed female stay where it is while I go grab the saddle I forgot. On my way back I get a death message from the kangaroo and my eyes start tearing up because it took me like- an hour to find that max female and now I'm sad.
