Can no longer use bola on procoptodon

One way to tame without traps or rare flowers

Get a beelzebufo, chase it down and hit it. Best way to keep up with procoptodon. It was moving fast but beelzebufo covers it with a jump. Just did it a few minutes ago

It ran from near smugglers peak to a river side and fell unconscious, it was a safe spot with only 3 raptors busy fighting trikes at that moment at some distance. With rare mushrooms and waiting a few minutes I had it tamed.

It was fun!!! Chasing!!!

Don't forget rare mushroom and some narcotics.

Net gun that’s it makes it real easy to tame

Watch out it’s torpor drains kinda fast I was taking one and didn’t have enough muschrooms so I teleported to bog for some rare mushroom and when I came back from only three minutes it was awake again so beware

Best to use rare flowers with a walk in trap made of wood with a roof that’s what I did and it worked well

It is affected by bola on mobile. I even tried it out to make sure on a wild one and it worked.

Find a nice high level kangaroo, walk your wyvern towards it backwards. It will get trapped in the wyvern's wings. Tranq dart it until it's unconscious and feed it mushrooms. No trap needed. Even more effective if you have a tribe mate with another wyvern.

I just tamed one yesterday so all I can say is either feed them the mushrooms or this weird planet X I think 🤔 seeds.

Hands down the best pack mule. My favorite is riding around with a chainsaw and loading up on 3 k worth of wood in 2 minutes. You don't even need a passenger, the driver can use the chainsaw.

For mobile players it can be found between the vulcano and the mountain to the right. (maybe a bit lower but not to the river) very good to gather resources if you live in the vulcano as i do. (many raptors and allos there so be prepared)(I found tree in 3 min there once if u wonder)

Easy tame, here is how to do it (ark mobile exclusive)

All you need is tranq arrows, narcotics, rare mushroom (compulsory), bola

Simply bola it, give it some body hits with tranq and boom its unconscious

Then put some rare mushrooms (it doesn't eat berries, once its tamed it will)

Keep it unconscious and in 5 mins you will get a cute kangaroo :)

Saddle is a little expensive but that's it

*New best method for taming*

Use net gun. Shoot kangaroo with net. Shoot tranqs at Roo. Feed rare flowers.

Bonus*

Take to Ocean East on Genesis. Bring whip and procoptodon. Black tag on berries with secondary attack. Transfer back to your base via mission terminal.

They can be trapped by a harpoon gun with nets.

These creatures are easy to tame if u have like 100 mushrooms and 30 tranqs but they are one of arks fastest dinos so ur need a trap and if u want to kill it use a crossbow and flame arrows

Pickup your argentavis go to kangaroos location pick him/her put it in a stone trap made of 9 stone foundation and 24 stone doorways (if you put ramps it will be a multi purpose trap i uae that) get your weapon with tranqs

Shoot it in the head and let it run away from you but keep chasing it, after a little bit of time it will be calm again, shoot it and repeat. Worked for me and it's really good early game.
